I hear that the bulk of indie films' budgets usually go towards camera equipment and film. If it was shot digitally, it probably lowered production costs by a lot.

the korean film? I saw that a like two years ago. I really enjoyed it, though I was shocked at the dark turn it took halfway through.

Yup that's the one. Yeah it also caught me off guard too.

Really portrayed the delicacy of life and how one tiny moment can change it completely. Awesome stuff.

You should check out 3 Iron, it's by the same director.
