We've had guitarist, bassist, vocalist, drummer, overall band... it's time to get to the greatest of all time... the tambourine player.

For innovation, a tie between PJ Harvey and Yoko
as far as technique and flair, it's hard to compete with Ian Astbury
But I'm a Zeppelin-Zombie, so for style/sexiness alone, I vote Robert Plant.
He's also been known to be a Lip-Freak while slapping it.
