Black Canary (should she even be in it?)

Also I would want the Green Arrow to already be GA. Maybe a flashback or something, but I want him in his thirties, fighting crime as GA....

Preferably darker shades of green though.

Approach the film not like a Superhero movie - but a thriller involving a political terrorist. No Super villain, just Ollie fighting for the common man against a corrupt government establishment/figure/etc.

a GA movie thread pops up about every 6-8 months...then disappears after two pages of everyone posting the same casting and mediocre story ideas they did in the last thread. im not complaining...just saying...

Lots of people iover on the Batman boards where saying they think Anthony Micheal Hall was playing Oliver Queen in TDK. I don't think he is but I think he would make a good Ollie if they do a Green Arrow movie.

For an origin story, Halloway or MacCaughney would be good.

But for Super Max or something like it where Green Arrow is already a hero and established in the DC universe (even though a crossover might not happen) I really like Denis Leary for him. He can do the pig-headed angry attitude well. He is pretty old but still in good shape which is how i see Ollie in the current comic continuity.

its the nobrainer spinnoff movie!
just have a Green Arrow origin movie with refrences to that spookey dude in gotham.. and WOLLA! a perfect comicbook movie that can be made 100% true to the comics..
Ollie didnt fight Supervillians or aliens when he started.. realisme!

not really rumors.. they said at the DC panel (at wondercon i belive) that they want to make a Green lantern/Green Arrow Animated movie (along with a few others)

Personally I see Ollie as Kiefer Sutherland, I've always seen McConahey as an older Aquaman. The costume Normin posted is perfect, but like he said, slightly darker.

I thought Merlyn would make a good villan, mabie not a main villain, but certainly a good adition to the film.

Wow you have no idea how much$$$ they gone have to pay him to do green arrow but it s worth it! Although kiefer seems a bit small for the role is 5`9 I think.
