Garret Hedlund is a good pick. But I think Charlie Hunnam would be even better for Oliver.

If they were going to redo Black Canary, I'd want Florence Pugh. I almost fancast her beforehand but thought she was a little young at the time.

Oliver's not that hard to cast. Plenty of dashing blondies out to be found. But I am curious what itch a prospective GA movie could possibly scratch that the TV shows haven't covered at some point.

TV Oliver Queen on Arrow was pretty different from comic Oliver Queen. Oliver Queen on arrow was very serious and tortured like Batman. Comic Oliver Queen has a more well rounded personality. Comic Green Arrow can be serious but he also has a sense of humour.

I also think Green Arrows villains were often not used that well on Arrow. Count Vertigo is one of Green Arrows top foes and has some character depth thanks to writers like John Ostrander using him in his Suicide Squad run. Ostrander add stuff like making Vertigo bipolar. Both versions of Vertigo on arrow were just generic drug dealers.

Bradley Cooper as Green Arrow would be great. I just wanna see that guy lead an action franchise.

I also think Boyd Holbrook could do a good job, assuming he can shake his southern accent. Maybe not as a lead though, but just as a supporting character, like in the next Suicide Squad movie.

For Ollie, I like guys with an edge, but who also have that likeable roguish Han Solo personality. Guys like Amell (and Hedlund) don't really have that imo.

I’m definitely up for this. And it should be comic accurate, not a super serious Batman rip-off like he was on Arrow. The problem is that he would be very polarizing and the Fox News crowd would lose their collective minds if he were done the way he is portrayed in the comics. I can just heard the complaints about “Hollyweird liberals forcing their views to indoctrinate our society” if we got an accurate Oliver.

And going for something more similar to the Arrowverse version, Charlie Hunnam could work very well.

I’d love to see GA on screen (I still remember the days when that Super Max script was floating around and would still love to see a movie like that on screen).

In the meantime, I wouldn’t mind Arrow being introduced in a Harley-verse/BOP sequel. He can be that corner of the universe’s Batman, so to speak. Take them all to Star City.

Even if I were to keep the race similarly, for this particular type of BC, in BOP, I think I'd lean to Gugu Mbatha Raw.
