Which versions do you think would win in a fight? I'm leaning towards Ollie.

I love topics like this, anyway, Oliver stomps Bats

Yeah this Green Arrow destroys Nolan's Batman by a mile just in fighting skills alone. Nolan's Batman came off as extremely slow to me where as Oliver is much quicker and seems to use multiple martial art styles.

I'm really anxious to see how the new Batman is showcased as a fighter. I know he's supposed to be an older and wiser Batman but I wouldn't mind if he fought a bit like Oliver.

IMO, the fights (and a lot of the other stunt work) is done much better on Arrow than in the Nolan Batman movies. Arrow is more like Batman than Nolan's Batman in this regard.

It'd be damn interesting fight for sure. Also, I wonder if season one Ollie would put up a tougher fight since he'd be going to kill. Just straight for the jugular with him. Season two Ollie would hold back a little bit, but only a little.

Bruce did take on quite a few of the League in Batman Begins, when Ollie had Canary to back him up. It's not really comparable, but I guess in trying to gauge their skills against people who are highly skilled as well (since we can't really say organized criminals are anywhere near their level) Far as I remember, Bruce already knew a couple martial arts in the films. I think if you're worried about speed, his TDK/TDKR outfit would be the one for him since he sacrificed defense for speed when he switched.

The movies did show that Batman pretty much would decimate his opponents. But, again so many there as with Arrow are people who aren't even in the same ballpark in skillset. The only ones that he struggled with were Ra's and Bane, but I feel like Bane was a separate deal anyway. Could be too close to call for me, but I won't deny that Ollie is an absolute beast. I'm eager to see exactly what he learned, in the series, really.

This is tough, but I'm going with Batman. I think Oliver has him in hand to hand battle and would be close to edging out the victory when Batman relies on his habits of using a gadget that would put Arrow down.

Arrow stomps him. Nolan's Batman isn't as skilled as Ollie

Both the Nolan/Bale Batman and the Adam West version would take down Arrow with enough preptime.

Green Arrow would destroy Nolan's Batman. Nolan's Batman wasn't anything special

Not if he uses whatever useless nonsense he used on Bane.

Arrow vs Bane would be a good fight. I see Arrow winning this one as well.

This is like comparing Bruce Lee to a Grandma who does Tai Chi. Little Greenie looks like a novice who took a few karate classes compared to Bats. Nolan's Batman would stomp Ollie into next week and haunt his dreams forever.

Have you watched TDKR? In that Batman looks like the novice with Karate lessons. While Arrow went all 'The Raid' on a dozen or more thugs in Season 1.

He was an old, broken down man (far beyond his years) in that one. The Batman who took out thugs and multiple LOS members in Batman Begins would obliterate Ollie without even breaking a sweat. Then he would tell Arrow that the night belongs to him, so Ollie should go suck on his own time.

Arrow. Hands down. Nolan's Batman moved too bulky in his outfit, Arrow is fast and more flexible and more skilled as a fighter. Nolan's Batman was like a moderately trained boxer.

Plus...CATWOMAN had to save him from Bane.

Catwoman. Let that sink in.

Arrow in this show fights like you would pretty much expect Batman in the comics to fight.

Well, he did get stabbed by Talia. Which wouldn't have happened, if he'd actually worn some stab proof material. But apparently he never heard of the stuff.

I honestly don't see how anybody could see this as a contest. Especially if we are talking Batman Begins-TDK Batman then this is a no contest. Period. I'm as obsessed with this show as the next guy but in Begins Bruce was a god damn ninja. Ollie is the **** but there's really no comparison. He'd mop Keaton though

If Bruce was a ninja, he was the slowest ninja I've ever seen.

Batman, he beat Ras. Everyone, even Merlyn and canary are terrified of Ras.

He beat Nolan Ra's. Arrow Ra's is not the same person. Arrow Ra's is probably a level higher.

Nolan's Bats would never even touch Amell's Ollie. All the high end fighters in Arrow are fast enough to catch arrows after they're fired. BatBale wasn't fast enough to catch Bane's slow, telegraphed punches.

And Ollie has faced super powered foes during his five years on the island, and probably other strange **** we haven't heard of yet.
