I'm all for it!
When I first looked at DC/Warner Brother's slate for the next few years I was rather disapointed that some of DC's more unique heroes were being passed over in favour of more popular heroes. Don't get me wrong; I'm sure the Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Green Lantern Corps movies will be decent and I am REALLY excited about 'Suicide Squad' but if the Superhero genre is to survive we need filmmakers to make movies that stand out as 'Guardians of the Galaxy' proved so well.
This sounds brilliant; you got two beloved slightly more obscure superheroes, time travel and other sci-fi shenanigans, and a buddy cop style. This sounds like exactly the kind of movie DC should be making.
It's a dark day when DC comics movies are gritty and more serious then Marvel.

Two good comedy actors is essential imo.

I think this movie's identity should basically be the next Goldberg/Apatow style comedy movie, but about superheroes (the same way Sausage Party is that for animated movies). The entire cast should be modern comedy actors like in This is the End. That's the way I can see it really turning heads. I say they should go R-rated for language too, like most comedy movies these days do.
