Merely asking questions of Setrakian =/= being a doubter.

Agreed. That was an example of a character NOT being a dumbass. Eph has been trying to understand things from a logical and scientific stand point since the giddyup. And that makes sense, even if Setrakian has more experience with these creatures. So far, Eph has been correct about alot of the nitty gritty mechanics of how this version of vamps do what they do. Him being incredulous about Setrakian's claims that killing the Master ()what ever shall The Doctor think?) ) will take out all the infected is reasonable.

What's not reasonable is the acting of the two FBI AGENTS that questioned Eph, or the cops taking in Miguel and his buddy even after the undead medical examiner, which had been dragging people out of cars before was attacking THEM.
