Guitar Hero III - For 360, PS3, Wii and PS2 this winter.

I've been kinda disappointed with the song selection for this one??

Whats to be disappointed about? ONE Paint it Black, Same Old Song & Dance, Even Flow, Number of the Beast, Paranoid, SUNSHINE OF YOUR LOVE!!!

There are some good selections in there, but the songs from Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Killers, and Aerosmith are all pretty weak sauce.

I disagree on the Aerosmith and the Chilis... and don't like the Pumpkins or the Killers...

They haven't entirely ruled out DLC for the Wii. It's coming, it'll just be a while.

Oh I know that's what they've said....I just don't expect to see it.

Cherub Rock is classic Smashing Pumpkins, and Aerosmith is great. Chili Peppers is fine, and I don't like the Killers but still.

Kinda off topic, but will you be able to use the Guitar Hero guitar on Rock Band? I just got Guitar Hero 2 on 360 and will get 3 and thinking about getting Rock Band, but I wouldn't want to have to spend the extra money on another guitar controller.

I don't know about using the RB guitar for GH3, but I don't see a problem. It'd be badass to use it for the solos. (the RB buttons on the end of the neck)

I don't know alot of rock songs so i don't mind the selection i just love the game.

I'm a loser =D I didn't listen to alot of music just whats on the radio or whatever a friend is listening to. But after i played GH2 i started listening to some rock songs lol.

Stopped by Game Crazy, they have the demo there along with the new Les Paul guitar. Much smoother feel, more sleek.

The strummer is much more quiet, as are the buttons.

gh3 looks like it will be a great game.'.ive played it a couple of time and its fun but im not a hardcore rock fan so i end up playing one or two songs i actually do know.....and dont say its b/c your black( which is true xD) but maybe they could have a turntable hero or hiphop hero or maybe set some t.i songs with a rock beat!!! but gh3 for the wii looks like its shaping up pretty nicely!!! just get it polished and its all good

Just wanted to say Guitar Hero III is coming out this month. The 28th this Sunday.t: But the PC and Mac version will not be out until Nov 12. Being the only bad news there. But the Wii version will not have downloadable content until a few month from now. But there will be online play right when it comes out. But the Wii version will have Online play at Launch. It's only the PS2 version that will not have any online play or downloadable content.
