I'm just giving some last Minute news before Guitar Hero III comes out. That's all.

Just wanted to say Guitar Hero III is coming out this month. The 28th this Sunday.t: But the PC and Mac version will not be out until Nov 12. Being the only bad news there. But the Wii version will not have downloadable content until a few month from now. But there will be online play right when it comes out. But the Wii version will have Online play at Launch. It's only the PS2 version that will not have any online play or downloadable content.

I'm gonna have a hard time holding out on buying this. I don't want to get it right away because if I wait a few weeks I can get it for 20% off at work in deal for employees.

If you want additional songs, you will have to buy them via XBL and PSN. If they gave you the option to add songs yourself, that would defeat the purpose and they wouldnt make any money off of that.

Because that would cost an insane amount of money. Any song you want? Do you have any idea how much money it would cost for the plethora of licensing fees that would make up, and how much work it would take to do the note charts for "any song you want". It's just not plausible.

If you want to play any song you want you'll just have to learn how to hack the games and make the note charts yourself. Don't ask me how, I don't know, but that's why there's custom song videos on youtube.

I read that the wireless guitar doesn't come with a ummm I don't know, something about batteries.
My point is, I'm probably gonna get GH2 with the wired guitar and GH3 by itself.

The wireless guitars shouldn't be bad for battery usage at all. I bought a wireless one back in April and I've never had to change the batteries once. It's not for a lack of being used either. I've played a lot of 1, 2 and '80s with it.

There are some songs that can only be unlocked in co-op mode, like "Sabotage" and "Suck My Kiss". Is there online co-op via Xbox Live where these songs can be unlocked?
