Any others addicted to chewing gum here? I don't do it much at home, but if I'm going out for any reason [school, movie, night out, whatever] I pop a piece. Chew it. Maybe chew on another piece if the flavor goes and I'm feeling sick of the plainness. I'll spit out a piece of gum if required, then another piece replaces it right after I'm done with whatever required my mouth's full attention. Clam diving!! Anyway, I just bought a jumbo 60 pack of Excel spearmint and some Watermelon/spearmint hybrid Trident Splash the other day. I have about 13 normal packs laying around in a variety of flavors, some full, some with pieces missing. I can't stop chewing. Chewing. Chewing. On and on and on. Forever and ever. I will always chew. Gum is my vice, it makes my breath smell nice. And I want to stop but I can't. I can't. :csad:

I always chew gum.
Yep, I'm an addict.

I'm always paranoid about whether my breathe smells fresh or not.
Also, sometimes when I am hungry, I can grew a piece of gum and my stomach will think that I'm eating something, then hunger goes away.

Gum chewing's good if it's once in a while
it can stop you from smoking and brighten your smile...

I chew Orbit mostly. Spearmint and Citrusmint

I chew a lot at work. I buy 2 or 3 economy packs of different brands and flavors and have them in my coat,my purse,my jeep and my tool box...everywhere.[/addict]

I swallow gum, it doesn't stay in your stomach like people still claim.

Once and a while I'll be on a chewing gum kick, and after a couple weeks, gone again.

I spend about $50 a month on gum. :down

On the upside, I never get caught with bad breath.

Gum cannot match the power of good toothpaste and mouth wash.

Really? When I chew gum I'm hungry all the time, the chewing process alone gets the stomach acids going, or something.

Yeah, it works at first.

But then after about an hour I get this extremely empty feeling in my stomach and I feel like vomiting.

I used to love Care-Free Koolerz in blue, but I can't find them anymore.

Chewing gum: I do it when I have nothing better to do.

I chew gum for too long and two things happen....1) My Jaw Hurts....I think I have TMJ or something...it clicks too

2) I get really hungry....something to do with Saliva I think.

But what is the deal with Chewing Gum and then eating a cracker or something like that? The Gum get's all liquidy.

I do not chew gum usually, it is fine as long as it is not a brand that uses Aspertain because I do not want methyl Alcohol in my system. There is a Methyl portion in the make up of Aspertain.

i usually only chew gum when i'm in class or i'm standing next to a cute boy.
then i punch him in the arm and spit the gum in his hair and run away just to let him know i think he's swell.

BORING!!! gum chewing?????? papajinx... i'm insulted to know you would partake in such a boring thread. i chew glass. gum is for wussies.

Used too while in HS and college but kinda quit now, I do it now and then after I eat a big meal.

i cant chew gum ive got braces

I went two years without chewing gum when I had braces.

Then I went to a wedding.

My mum broke off half a piece and gave it to me 'cause I was getting restless in the church.

You can chew it as long as you're extra extra extra careful to not let it get stuck in the braces.
