Guys who need to be Pooped On: Kevin Trudeau

He addresses the haterz :whatever: .

I love his line about people who are "weak willed" not wanting to get colonics everyday (which is dangerous for you). And then he talks about how people are rationalize not changing their body image...while he is "starving" himself. WOW:whatever: . That almost makes me mad I put so much work into fitness.

I love how he points out all the research he did *cough*Natural Cures by Trudeau*cough*.

It’s hard to miss the advertisements for detox diets, and dietary supplements claiming to “cleanse” you of “built up toxins." Manufacturers claim that these diets and products can give you new energy and you’ll lose weight, sometimes "overnight."

I typed “detox diets” into my Google browser, and on the right side margin (where paid advertisers display) ads invited me to “cleanse," “look younger," and “defy the aging process." There are more than one million (that’s MILLION!) websites associated with detox diets.

Many find it hard to resist the claims, because it sounds like nirvana. You’re feeling sluggish and bloated, you hate to diet; so, hey, let’s give it a try! They say you can feel better and look younger and slimmer, in just days. So, what’s the scoop on detox diets?

Save your money…and your health. The human body is a “detoxifier," naturally. Your liver, kidneys, respiratory and gastrointestinal system all work together to detoxify your body daily. The average person does not need a “neutralizing” diet. He or she needs a healthy diet, but most detox diets are not healthy.

Eliminating unhealthy foods is a great idea, but eliminating all food is not. If the detox diet asks you to restrict yourself to only a select few foods, such as fruit or fruit juice or vegetable juice, you will certainly lose weight, but you’ll also lose lean muscle mass. If you resume your regular diet after “detoxing," you’ll regain the weight and more.

Come on, that's just crazy talk there.

I mean surely after starving yourself and the going back to your normal bad diet, you don't gain the weight back. I mean why else would you put yourself through that. :whatever:

I guess because you have such great will power and dedication...according to him.

I just started laughing when he said that he'd done the research on HCG and knew what he was doing with it. From the things that he's said about it, he's so far off the mark about HCG knowledge-wise it's scary. If he really knew what that stuff does to your body, he wouldn't be so quick to muck with it. It definitely has it's uses if you have low testosterone or sperm count issues or if you're a bodybuilder trying to boost your test and hormonal profile above normal (and doing it with regular bloodwork and in a controlled environment), but if you're a normal human being it's a horrible, horrible idea to just start taking compounds that can and will manipulate your endocrine system like that. Especially since this idiot's not even monitoring his hormonal profile through regular bloodwork. And then there are the dangers of prolonged fasting and, even worse, colonics every other day. It never fails to amaze me the lengths and extreme risks people will go to for the fabled "shortcut".

Yep, that won't mess up with normal rythms of the digestive system, or potentially cause harm to the inside of your colon...yesh...it won't do that at all. What a moron this guy is:whatever: . Doesn't he even know the human body is designed as a detoxifier.

By the by, I mentioned a study from the AMA in his last video and he got all huffy and said "Oh the AMA is here to save us". He's obviously bought into Kevin Trudeau's conspiracy theorist jargon as well.

As someone whose roommate is a bit of a fitness nut and who sees him on HCG/ steroid forums a lot, can anyone give me the rundown on what HCG is and does?

Essentially it induces ovulation in the ovaries or testosterone production in the testes in women and men respectively. A lot of time bodybuilders will lump it in with steroids.

That's essentially it. It accomplishes this by putting the leydig cells into overdrive, to oversimplify it. I wouldn't lump it in with steroids, personally as it's not a direct supplementation or enhancement of testosterone. It just stimulates the production of more test.

I just added that in there because, according to him, his roomate was looking at HCG stuff on a steroid forum.

Alot of roiders use HCG to bring their testes back from shriveled-up-raisin land after running an AS cycle.

Doesn't he notice in those photos that the fat loss is extremely outweighed by lean tissue loss and the drop in the coloring on his skin....god, idiot.

Let's bury him with articles on HCG effects, dangers of frequent colonics, dangers of low calorie diets, etc. On Youtube, you have to take the url stuff out of the equation and make it look like: h t t p : / / youtub dot com / links / subdirectories dot html .

I already gave him one that talks about the impact of HCG on the hormonal profile in men.

Did you see his response to the American Medical Association article I posted? :whatever:

Yeah, he took the "AMA Is A Conspiracy" route that Trudeau espouses. That's why I took the bodybuilding route. If it's BS that HCG impacts your hormonal panel then why do bodybuilders who use anabolic steroids use it bring back their normal testosterone and sperm production levels? I've tee'd him up. Let's see if he takes the bait. :D

Should we do it on this video, or wait until his next update?
