After forcing myself not to raise my blood pressure by dwelling too much on what I just read, my conclusion is that this isn't so much "how to keep a nice guy" as it is "how to be utterly manipulative and make your spouse feel bad along the way at their expense." I really can't figure out which is worse: that there are women who do every single step of this just to see their man twitch on their puppet strings, or that being a nice guy is some kind of universal sign for a giant moron.

Really, after that article spousal abuse lost some of its inplausibility.

Nice girls get screwed over and manipulated by jerk guys just as much as the other way around. If whoever made this thinks this is really the way all women are then I think they have some issues to work out.

I think about how my girlfriend feels all the time but everything isn't so black and white. I wouldn't let her manipulate me in this way. The best policy is to always be honest and talk things through, not play mind games on someone who cares about you.

Why is there a thread dedicated towards women that already know better in a male oriented forum.

Everything you could tell a woman, especially the clued up ones on this site that could probably get the majority of men they wanted, she pretty much knows already...
