Saw it last night I'll try to give a brief review without spoiling anything. I'd say this is a 2/5 (decent) I was dissapointed but commercial audiences are going to eat this **** up like cotton candy bet on that. It has everything your average movie goer would like but the more avid movie fan won't be impressed.

And that's all that matters. At 90 minutes, you know how many screening they can have per day. It's going to make a killing.

How were the effects? I know we tend to focus on the storyline and depth, but secretly we all want to know how good the CGI/practical stuff was. Was it pretty seamless?

Actually how you do phrase it does matter when it's text, and the bulk of my post was about why ppl like carrnuttt and now Warhammer are getting touchy.

i really don't see the difference when it's an obvious opinion "the movie was good not great" spoken or written is still an opinion... i really don't see the difference.

Man, I was joking because your post contradicted itself twice. I was not attacking you because of your opinion.

I wouldn't exactly say seamless but it was good enough. During the opening of the movie (the highway sequence from the ads) since it's in daylight it is fairly noticeable that it's CGI and such. The main effects sequence from the movie which is in the middle benefited from taking place during a storm so the effects seemed more natural.

It's similar to the last Hulk movie where the best effects were during the cave scene but the ones during the daytime looked cartoony. As the movie progresses the effects get better nothing particularly mind blowing but very functionable. Another gripe I had with the movie was the lack of an original score. Keep an eye out for the Peter Berg cameo.

Is

Bateman becomes evil upon learning about his wife and Hancock’s past

True?

Just answer ''Yes'' or ''No''.

No

there is no villain in the movie... well not a real villain... just glorified thugs.

Well it is there when it's written word in a place like this, not like having a face to face convo, the dynamic is changed.

The mod ? :funny: Thanks. :( ;) I wasn't modding you or anyone in here, this thread is going along fine, i was just giving my view.

Sony has teamed with fan favorite artists to create original "cover art" for the film. Best of all, they're giving prints of them away - keep an eye on the official Hancock site for the official entry form when it's available.

Hey guys, I read on the IMDB forums that there's a new Hancock TV spot, showing him and [blackout]Charlize Theron's character fighting, not like the 2 seconds of the trailer, but them literally fighting.[/blackout] Apparently they showed it with the last episode of Familiy Guy. Has anyone else seen it? -the spot of course- Does anybody knows if it is possible to find it online?

Yes, I saw it. I'm surprised they gave away such a big plot twist, but I think they want people to know that there's a big superhero fight so it sells more tickets. I mean, what's the point of having someone with superpowers if you don't have someone that can really challenge him?

I got free tix to an advance screening for this Thursday. I'll post my 2 cents afterward.

Cool, so, what happens on the spot? You know, besides the fight.

By the way, CoomingSoon.Net posted a review of the film: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/reviewsnews.php?id=46284

I really don't know what to expect, because I foolishly read the spoilers, and while the twist does sound dumb, if played correctly it could actually work.

I can't remember exactly but there was definitely a bit of dialog between Will and Charlize where you Charlize was egging him on to fight her.

This has a 40% on RT and I've read more than one review that mentions "The Last Action Hero" - not a good sign.
