Yes I enjoyed it a lot more than IronMan, I thought the fight with Charlize Theron (Yes I spelt her name wrong) was awesome better than Hulk vs Abomination. It felt powerful and earth shattering my only qualm with it was that the fight was to short.

This movie sucked massive...and the early screening I went to last week (packed as hell) did not get a reaction....it was more like, "what are we doing here and why am i still watching this?"

^ I said Smith was a great actor and he showcased it in IAL and Pursuit. But, IAL had horrible CGI and the ending was nothing short of crap. Happyness was a good family film but a tear jerker none the less. Smith has yet to be in a movie that has everything and is damn great. He is succeeding but I want just want him to choose his projects more carefully. It seems he is getting to comfortable with the summer blockbuster that he doesn't care what he plays. Hancock suffered from writing plain and simple.

and I'm saying some people expected more than a typical Will Smith summer blockbuster because he has proven that he's growing out of that with his last two projects. Say what you will about them but both were risks for the man and proof that he's trying to branch out and look for projects with a little more substance. In that respect this one is kind of regressive.

And from your reviews in your sig you rated Batman Forever to be on par with Batman Begins??? WTF!?

Yes it's not like I'm the only Batman fan who didn't think BB was the second coming of cinema. It's a good movie to me not very good not even great just good so I rate it as such. I consider BF a good film too because it overcomes it's flaws with a solid continuation and resolution to the Batman/Bruce Wayne arc from it's 2 predecessors. It also has good cinematography, a good score and nice comic booky production design down to replicating one of the original comic batmobiles and having what I consider the best batcave of any of the live action flicks.

Notice this does not mean I think it's better written than BB or features better performances I just feel as a whole product it's better executed and find it more entertaining. It has more replay value to me than BB does but I consider both to be good.

It was an alright movie for me. Will Smith did a fantastic job as Hancock. My favorite bit was

When Hancock first faced evil the heroes way. Not crashing into places and than saying good job to all the police officers. It was nice. I wouldn't mind a sequal, but they need to give the guy a better villain. These two guys didn't make sense at all, I understand why they were angry and all, getting a guy up your ass can't be a fun thing, but gese what they did was harsh.

I'm supporting this movie because, aside from Wall-E, it's the only other property this summer aside from comedies that isn't based on some earlier thing or a sequel.

It's the return of Big Willie weekend it will have a big opening though I think Wall-E will definitely put up a strong fight and probably be a very close second.

Okay...btw to people who have seen it...I have no idea why this was in the movie...but the part where Smith and Theron fight and theres a darkened sky etc etc....did anyone...anyone at all notice the complete and total random GIANT ROBOT WALKING BY IN THE BACKGROUND????

It was either totally random bad editing, the sfx team sneaking in a shout out to Transfromers...or part of some deleted storyline involving robots attacking Hancock...I have no idea but either way...please tell me I'm not the only one who saw it

Just finished watching a bootleg version of Hancock and well its kinda more of a love story more than anything else. Kinda sad with what happens btwn Hancock and Mary.

I would not take advice from someone who adamently hated the movie. I have not seen it and wanna know too but just go and judge for yourself. It may be good to you or bad. Thats the risk with any movie.
