Thanks for the recommendations. Two for CM Punk, so that's a for sure to buy for me. I think that'd be a great starting point for right now. I'm a Randy Savage fan…so I'll probably pick up the Macho Madness - Randy Savage Ultimate Collection also. Any insight on this one?

The Randy Savage set is all matches, with introductions by Matt Striker and Maria. No documentary. Outstanding set, though, because Randy Savage. WWE is apparently working on another set to release later this year or early next year, this one featuring a documentary.

The Rise and Fall of ECW

Wow...that was a decade ago! The Rise & Fall of ECW is still one of their best sets to date.

Some standouts for me since that time:

Bret "Hit Man" Hart: The Best There Is, the Best There Was, the Best There Ever Will Be
Rob Van Dam: One of A Kind
Tombstone : The History of the Undertaker
The History of the WWE Championship
Ric Flair and The 4 Horsemen
The Shawn Michaels Story: Heartbreak & Triumph
Viva La Raza: The Legacy of Eddie Guerrero
Edge: A Decade of Decadence
The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment
The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin
Ric Flair: The Definitive Collection
The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect
The History of the Intercontinental Championship
Starrcade: The Essential Collection
The Rise & Fall of WCW
The History of the World Heavyweight Championship
Greatest Stars of The 90's
Allied Powers: The World's Greatest Tag Teams
Macho Madness: The Ultimate Randy Savage Collection
Breaking the Code: Behind the Walls of Chris Jericho
Shawn Michaels : My Journey
Hart & Soul: The Hart Family Anthology
Ricky Steamboat: The Life Story of the Dragon
Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Bottom Line on the Most Popular Superstar of All Time
You Think You Know Me : The Story of Edge
CM Punk: Best in the World
The Rock: The Epic Journey of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
The Best Of WCW Clash of the Champions
Bret Hitman Hart - The Dungeon Collection
Goldberg: The Ultimate Collection

I stopped watching TNA months ago and have felt much better for it.

I sometimes struggle to keep up with WWE. TNA would have to be worth the investment and clearly it's not.

[/I]Fully agree with Mick, Punk is a huge miss I don't care how cool it now is to gripe at him. whenever Steph and Triple H are out there cutting their long winded promos it's crying out for him to interrupt and cut them up.

Absolutely agree. There is no one in WWE right now who is as well rounded as CM Punk, and imo, the only guy who could possibly match Punk mic wise is Dean Ambrose.

I stopped watching the moment I walked out of the "Impact Zone" before the show ended in 2006, I went solely to see Kurt Angle in his second appearance there. The show itself was crap but the reverse battle royal they had on the show to help determine a new #1 contender was absolutely insulting to witness in person. It was such a joke, and so poorly executed that it was a disaster to see. What made it worse was how many people around me were into it and cheering it on as if it was anything special. TNA has almost always had some incredible young talent yet they can never seem to get it together.

So WWE can auto renew contracts. I assume this can only be enabled if the talent is injured and "on sabbatical"?

Wow… :hubba … I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanks for the additional info.

Thanks…as far as the more "documentary" type of sets, what would you prefer?

Ric Flair: The Definitive AND Ultimate Collection (2 sets)
Ric Flair and The 4 Horsemen
The Shawn Michaels Story: Heartbreak & Triumph
Viva La Raza: The Legacy of Eddie Guerrero
The Rise and Fall of ECW
CM Punk: Best in the World
Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Bottom Line on the Most Popular Superstar of All Time

And this is merely a highly recommended suggestion NOT a documentary, but The Summer of Punk.

Joker Devitt and Sith Devitt are my favorites.

Love them all, but my favorites are Carnage & Venom. Hope he's able to keep doing this stuff in the WWE.

Now I am beginning to wonder if the recent salary dump is to give WWE management the freedom in a couple of months, if the outlook for Bryan isn't great (:csad:), to drive up to Punk's house with a truck full of gold doubloons and beg him to come back.

Devitt might be able to get away with the body paint, provided WWE doesn't sell any merchandise featuring it.

I stopped watching TNA as well.

well, I finally watched TNA again after a several month hiatus.........

and I still didn't give a ****.............:o

I mean.....I tuned in to see Jeff Hardy........dressed as a ******* tree......licking an umbrella............

yeah......

They should sell a "paint your own Devitt" action figure set.

**Cut to Batista excitedly opening his box and suddenly looking confused.**

"I know what the paint is for, but what's the deal with this little plastic doll?"

Um What?

I pretty much stopped watching TNA after AJ Styles left it. Haven't returned at all and probably never will. In Fact I think I'd probably watch Jarretts new company and give that a chance before I ever watch TNA again.

I'm with you, brother!

 I think there's a reason fans all over the world are still chanting for him and it's as simple as the fact they miss what he brings.

Absolutely agree. There is no one in WWE right now who is as well rounded as CM Punk, and imo, the only guy who could possibly match Punk mic wise is Dean Ambrose.

Definitely, I mean Cena could do more in the role if he were allowed to but fans would never buy him in the way they do Punk. A fully fit and motivated CM Punk is still the "Best in the World" IMO.

I do miss Punk but it doesn't matter because he's going to do what he wants. That's why the chants don't accomplish anything and are worthiness.. Punk has to want to return and management has to offer the right thing to Punk. I don't think Punk is concerned with wrestling at this time at all.

Very true, I just think for ticket paying fans sitting through a 3 hour Raw it's an understandable chant, if they utilized more of the talent they have better then it might fade a bit.....maybe.

I wish they'd go back to a 2 hour Raw.
