I like the actor that played Doug and Doug as a character seemed pretty cool. I see no reason to not have his character back

I just have a feeling this one is going to jump the shark.

For me, I wanted to like this movie... But I found it almost completely unfunny. It did not live up to the hype, for me. Actually the only bit that made me "LOL" was the part where the bearded chap was "thanking Bin Laden" for ruining his airline *********ion.

I think it would be funny if they start out looking for him again but find him within the first three minutes.

Cool - Love seeing the pics that are starting to come out.

Say what you will about the first film, it did have really good cinematography.

where the hell is Doug?! :cmad:

if the sequel ends up turning out like the first in that they lose Doug again, i am going to be pissed

Honestly, I don't care if it's about losing Doug again. That alone isn't going to disappoint me. If the jokes are there, I don't care where Doug is.

I too am pretty curious as to where Doug is...

I think the creative team is smart enough not to retread the original by having him go missing for the film...again.

Relax peeps, there's only been three photos released, and one of them does have Doug.

That would be funny. Kind of fool the audience into thinking the movie is about finding him again but they turn around and find him within a minute. lol

Bill Clinton will not have a cameo in The Hangover: Part II

"He came and visited us," Helms told MTV. "I'd be surprised if there's a scene in the movie."

Todd Phillips also said months ago that Bangkok was NOT the locale for the sequel...

Not saying that what Helms is saying isn't true, but that misdirection is common when it comes to sequels.

I think its perfect...its different.

Its not where we thought they'd take it i.e. Mexico, Europe, etc.

Agreed. The WORST was with Transformers 2. Michal Bay was doing that just to be an arse.

Doug has been in at least one promo picture:

The thing with making it about finding Doug is, if you shoehorn Doug into the story, you risk ruining the chemistry that made the first movie so special. Therefore, I think they need to find a way to remove Doug from the equation, without getting redundant.

I agree. I like Justin Bartha, but Doug didn't fit in as well with Phil, Stu, and Alan. I think Doug should get sick in Bangkok and fly home early in the movie. Gets him out of the way without being redundant.

yeah, that's true. him getting sick makes sense. or of if this takes place in real time (2 years since the 1st film), Doug's wife can be pregnant and she goes into labor so he is forced to leave the other 3 in Thailand. sucks about the Bill Clinton cameo not being true though :cmad:

I don't care if they end up looking for Doug again. It all depends on how it plays out. Just having them look for Doug again doesn't necessarily make it a bad idea.
