I think the whole point of using the quotes in the beginning was to get people guessing as to what this particular trailer was for...then the "big reveal" with the pan up to the Wolfpack walking toward the screen.

Obviously for us, with it being online, we know exactly what trailer this movie is for. But for someone seeing it in the theater, they'll be scratching their heads the first half of the teaser.

I mean, there are actually quite a few people who don't even know a sequel is coming...i'm willing to bet that this will get quite a reaction in the theater. Especially when they reveal that its Alan, Stu and Phil.

Doug was replaced with a monkey but it's probably for the better. It's hard to compete with a monkey.



I love the teaser by the way , it says enough without revealing too much. People will be excited for this

Why was it terrible? Because they showed almost nothing? It was good enough to get people interested.

And the less footage the better. Leaves the appetite huge for when it actually releases.

Because that is re-tread of the first film.

It would be like Indy re-discovering the Lost Ark in all 4 films.

Even if Doug is not in it or goes missing again ... Why does that automatically make it a bad thing? We know next to nothing about the script.

Wouldn't there be some humor in a "Aw ****, here we go again" scenario? There are a ton of sequels that basically play off the same premise as the original ... and work.

I like that they're calling it Part II. It's not a sequel, it's a continuation of the first story.

Anyway, the teaser was great. It showed no footage while getting people excited for the film. There's nothing but a bald Galifinakis, and a tatoo'd Helms with an exhausted cooper. And from the look of everything they get into some deep s**t.
