The difference between Mel and Mike is that Mike paided for what he did and has moved on. Mel has not shown a slighest bit of remorse for his actions. Mel is just a mentally unstable racist *****ebag. Lets be honest here who would want to work with Mel knowing that he could flip out like that at any time? Sure Mike is no saint but at least he got his ***** together. I don't blame Zach or anyone else involved with the movie for not wanting to work with Mel Gibson.

I get bothered by people who continually hold crimes over peoples heads who have gone to jail for them....yes Tyson raped someone and he went to jail for it.
Same thing with Michael Vick...he brutally fought dogs and went to jail for it...he came out of jail a changed person and it seems like all people want to do is deny him a chance to make a living because of a crime he paid for.

Zach isn't Jewish, though.

really? I just figured...
my bad

how do you feel about chris brown?

Im sorry but how are horrible comments worse than a who dude who went to jail for rape. I mean im cool with Tyson, he did his time and I think he's a changed man, but to say no to Mel is a hypocritical.
I don't like Chris Brown cause girls are defending him till this day and saying Rihanna deserved it. He has made them girls crazy.

how do you feel about chris brown?

He was charged with the crime and got sentenced...This isnt like Roman Polanski who fled the country.
He did the crime and did the time. I dont listen to his music but Im not about to boycott him over it

they didnt say no to Mel because of ethics and whatnot...they said no to Mel because his star was falling and they didnt want to be dragged down with him...plain and simple

In the end, Mel is just a dick. Tyson is still a convicted rapist. I don't have a problem in refusing to work with Mel Gibson on moral grounds, but don't act like you're taking the high road when you have no problems working with someone much worse. That's just incredibly *****ey.
This.

Thought it was okay to very good in parts. I thought that the

Ladyboy gag was done well, given the environment I should of known where it was going but when "she" started talking about sperm I was like "no way!"

Helms and Copper really make the film, I'm in the minority when I say that I'm not a fan of Galifianakis. I find his comic timing to be poor.

It's a shame that they couldn't have kept Mel on for the cameo, he would have owned that role.

Really? You thought Bradley Copper was funny? He is cool but he doesn't really have many funny lines. Ed Helms and Galifianakis and Chow are the ones that provide most of the laughs.

I didn't say he was funny, just that the character was enjoyable to watch. He's a bit of an ass, but one with a soft side. He has great chemistry with Helms and Galifianakis so it was fun to watch how he responded towards all the crazy situations that they found themselves in.

That's one thing I can't take away from Galifianakis though, they all have great chemistry with each other, and Alan is at his best when he's interacting with the guys in the ludicrous situations that they find themselves in. I just hate his dialogue, or the delivery of the dialogue.

Also, I'm not a fan of Chow, but he was less irritating this time around.

I saw it. Didn't hate it, but it wasn't as entertaining as the original.

2.5/4

At the end of the day, while I didn’t have quite as good a time with The Hangover: Part 2, its technical ambition really impressed me. Still, It sticks a bit too close to the first film’s formula to really do anything new and the ending left me feeling cold, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least entertained by the how far these guys dare to go. Like the first film, I enjoyed the opening act the most, but at least Bangkok’s a more interesting city to get lost in. Fans of the first film shouldn’t expect any surprises, but if you’re dying for a sequel to The Hangover you’ll probably enjoy it all the same.

I knew the plot was going to be similar in Part II but I had NO IDEA it was gonna be damn near shot for shot the same. I liked it I guess, had a few laughs, but the first still reigns supreme. Was not blown away at all

7/10 i liked it but they didn't really top themselves, but it was fun none the less. if there's a part 3 they need to change the formula, and let justin bartha get in on the action. for part 3 i want to see the night of the partying.

The part that just made me go WTF was Alan's meditation sequence.

I mean... what the **** was that? I laughed at the sheer strangeness of it all.

it's how he really views the world, he's a child trapped in a man's body and now we understand how severely mentally ill he really is.

That makes sense. Still the sheer nature of that sequence just threw me off. I loved it, but man, I just said, "What the ****?" when it was all over. I didn't know what else to say. To see the children do what they did made it even more funny.

"**** the POLICE!"

I actually was confused and amazed by Alan's child like meditation sequence...but you just cleared things up for me.

When Stu tells Chou in the first one that Alan's only a child, he wasn't kidding. Damn, Alan really is ill.

Makes sense, but I don't like it at the same time. I mean Alan himself knows he has a full beard....but that scene was trippy.

I don't think you understand how the MPAA works. The members of the MPAA are Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, and the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group. A major movie studio is never going to give an NC-17 rating to one of their blockbusters even if it warrants it. The movies that get slapped with higher ratings are movies from smaller independent studios like the Weinstein Company, Lionsgate, and Summit Entertainment.

I guarantee you that if the Hangover Part II were released as an independent film, it would be an NC-17 rated film. The Dark Knight would be an R rated film if it were distributed by a studio that is not a part of the MPAA. And so on.
The MPAA is a bunch of christian moms, and dads. Mostly christian. Seriously, there's a whole documantary about them. The studios have to PLEASE the MPAA. They dont control it.

But sometimes they can pay them off.

I wish someone or a group of people will have their way with that wreck of a business and fix the MPAA and how Hollywood works. Fix the tv ratings system, reduce high budgets and salaries, etc.

Kung Fu Panda 2 is better, just because.

This movie sucked in every single way possible, and it's pretty much one of the worst movies the year. Not THE but, one of the.

Oh indeed. It's such a messed up system.

I like the idea of a ratings system...but they have to be consistant.

Lesbian sex??? OH HELLLL NO!

Penises? Yeah, sure.
