I like those two choices. The other three, not so much.

Mena wouldn't be too bad, but then it comes off along the lines of if you casted Anna Faris or Isla Fisher in the role than she comes off as too ditzy, too bimboish, and too emptyheaded and blonde than someone you could take seriously. To me it's a tie between Reese Witherspoon and Brittany Murphy for the role. Alot of people want Zoe but I just don't see it anymore when I see manips of her as Harl.

Mena Suvari has the right look. the acting isnt so bad, but not quite high calibre actress i was thinking of. but hey Katie Holmes did rather well with Nolan, so i'm thinking Nolan has talent in bringing out the best from his actors.

IMO, its a putrid move, if it goes this way.

It all depends on how they play her. Something tells me by the look and feel that Nolan has got going for his series of Batman movies that is Harley was added into the mix, she wouldn't simply be some stupid ditzy comic relief bimbo that you might be expecting.
He would probably play heavily on the psychological angle with her, and she is also an important component in bringing out another side of The Joker which we wouldnt get to see without her.

I did myself a little Brittany Murphy manip of Harley. I wouldn't pace her as my ultimate favourite for the role, but I would be pleased if she did land it.

Like I have stated before.....Nolan is not dumb....and since he is a huge Blade Runner fan....if Harley comes into play in the 3rd film...I expect the influence of her character will be coming from the character of Priss in Blade Runner. He will not make Harley into some dimwitted bubbly goofball onscreen as she was depicted in the animated series.

If I had to choose between Kristen Bell & Zooey Deschanel, it would be Zooey hands down.

I do believe that, even more so than The Joker, a lot of Harley Quinn's "charm" has to do with her eyes... and even if Bell could wear contacts, I feel Deschanel has more of that particular "charm", not to mention Bell doesn't look old enough in my eyes and has an "inferior" resume. I also believe that Christina Ricci is a nice choice, but she is just so darn petite, it's almost annoying... both her and Bell are merely 5' 1''.
