Fangirl or Apprentice, take your pick.

I pick neither. How does some Joker fangirl going solo in TDKR work exactly? You're being vague with that response. What's her scheme or motive? Does she have a gang? How does she fit into Batman's emotional story?

Meh, let Nolan pick that's what I say personally. :cwink:

Agreed, that would be lame as hell. A girl obsessed with Joker who tries to kill Batman? Pfffft. Nolan is so much better than that, if he wanted Harley he probably would have used her in TDK. No Joker, no Harley. This isn't the comics where she teams up with Ivy to take over the world.

I'm so going to laugh whole heartedly at you guys if Harley does pop up in this movie.

Yeah just like you can laugh at us whole heartedly if Riddler is in this film as a zodiac portrayal too. Good luck with both of those:dry:

Yeah pretty sure I never mentioned The Riddler so I don't see what relevance that has to anything.

Maybe I'm being blinded by my love for crazy women, but I think she has a decent shot at a TDKR appearance. A brief appearance is probably more likely than a large role. Perhaps similar to Scarecrow in the TDK, Two-Face in Batman Forever, and Karai in TMNT (yes I went there!). Let me explain my ramblings:

Scarecrow in TDK - Apprehended in the beginning of the movie. A residual element from the previous film. As Casey Jones would say: "Leftovers!"

Two-Face in BF - Full back story not seen, but discussed by other main characters and newscasters. In addition, an intro scene featuring a standoff opposite Gotham's police.

Karai in TMNT
- Shreddar defeated, the right-hand girl takes over what's left of the gang. Lacks the vision of the original leader, but still holds things together.

Just my thoughts. A scene in the beginning of the movie could be useful in establishing Batman's dilemma of basically being caught in the middle of the police and the violent criminals he still intends to take down. Harley could be utilized here, as she's a new villain, but at the same time couldn't be described as "random".

And what a trilogy...Joker puts his stamp on the end of the first movie, all of the second, and the beginning of the third. :word:

and what do you think about Liza Weil from Gilmore Girls???

and if she does not convince them, my other option is Kaley Cuoco from the TV series The Big Bang Theory:

I'm all aboard the Seyfried as Harley train. I mostly just want to see her in a superhero costume but I think she could do quite well in the role.

I don't knoow how every one else feels, however I think it might be good idea to remove Brittany Murphy from this pole. She may have been a great choice, but sadly the fates didn't think so. :csad:

I can't stand seyfried. Harley would be the last villain next to joker that would be put in this movie though.

and What do you think about Tara Reid???. ...she is sexy, blonde and good actress

the only problem is his addiction to drugs and parties

Good lord, take Anna Faris off of the poll. Please. I hate her with a fiery passion of a thousand red hot burning suns. Yes, I do think the poll is here to appease me personally, so I'd appreciate it if you, my slaves, would get to it chop chop. Before I get the guillotine out.

Or we can compromise. I'll just say I really really hate the idea of Faris as Harley. Or the idea of Faris being in a Batman movie. Or the idea of Faris being in any movie.

Where did you get the idea she is a good actress?

The movies I've seen her in, she was pretty bad or average.

This thread has jumped the shark, if it hadn't already.

It's been REIDED.

I agree with the Seyfried choice. She's a great little actress, and I could easily see her in the role. As for how she could work in Nolan's world, it would probably something like the fake Batmen. Batman inspired people. Surely there would be a few out there who believed in what the Joker was saying? Harley would be the leader of a low-level street gang out committing arson and random murder and whatnot in his spirit.

But would it be a worthy adaptation of Harley? Probably not.

And now her looks are up to par with her acting. :oldrazz:
