Harpers Island

Its online. That is how I will be watching it from now on (Online and DVR)

What episode aired last night ? An episode aired on Thursday night on time for me & Matt it depends on who the killer is. If it was say the Groom he was pre occupied. The fact that the french guy survived the trap leads me to believe that the killer is someone in the wedding & was simply to busy to go kill the hanging upside down french guy & its funny how no one cares to ask what happened to the chick & her dog

Yikes, you're way behind Helmet. The groom has an alibi for Uncle Marty's death. He was in bed with the bride. So either the groom has an accomplice or he is innocent.

I did not say the groom was the killer. I was using him as an example with saying someone in the wedding is the killer with how the french guy survived

I believe the groom is the killer.

I believe the groom is the killer.

I think it is safe to say there are at least two people involved in this. It can't be Bobby because that is to obvious. I have my guesses on the grooms best friend being the one to tell the killer who to kill & where they will be & at what time but not sure on who is doing the killing yet

I believe the groom is the killer.

Doesn't he have an alibi for both murders? If he is, he is working with someone.

I still say the Sheriff. I maintain he worked with Wakefield on the original murders and killed him to cover his tracks

I think he's working with someone. (More and more I get the 'Scream' vibe from Harper's Island.)

CBS made a vital mistake, they shouldn't have premiered this opposite of Southland. They should've waited until the following week. This is the type of show you cannot simply jump into late.

Never the less, I've gotta admit, last night disappointed me to no end. This makes two episodes in a row without a move from the killer. Hunter was killed by a booby trap and Booth seems to have killed himself. The show is reaching the point where it is starting to drag. The killer needs to become a bit more proactive to shake things up.

Yes, but maybe the killer was the one who made the booby trap?

And like you, I want more of the killer doing the killings.

What no name Country has Hasper Island still playing on Thursday Night's ? It is not playing in the East Coast U.S> but the episode got online last night again. CBS wants this show to fail

Wow, intense episode. The atmosphere set up with the reverend's body being revealed during the rehearsal was brilliant.

I'm beginning to agree that the groom is the killer. Clearly the killer has a connection to John Wakefield. There was a newspaper clip in the Sheriff's cabinet that read, "Killer working alone?" I think it is safe to assume that this killer is Wakefield's accomplice. The Sheriff was tracking killings in Seattle and Oregon. They then made a point of saying that the Wellingtons and the groom live in Seattle. I'm leaning towards groom as ONE of the killers as he does have an alibi for both of the killings the killer physically committed.

You're insane, the killer can't be the groom. He is marrying the bride. What would be the point of killing friends and family members?

And is it me or was the latest victim...

[BLACKOUT]The father of the bride?[/BLACKOUT]

Only saw bits last night...gotta watch it later on on DVR to see it all.

But if the killer is the groom, then good call, cause I still don't think it's him.

It seems like the chandellier was head for him, but it didn't show for certain.

Well, here is my theory.

The sheriff thanked the groom last night for bringing his daughter back to Harper's Island for the first time in seven years. Abby only seemed to be willing to go back for the groom's wedding. The killer seems to be playing with Abby and the Sheriff (they are the ones he has given the newspaper clippings to and taunted). I'm thinking this whole wedding is simply a ploy to get Abby back to the island so the groom can avenge his mentor and partner, John Wakefield by killing his killer's daughter right infront of him.

that's why I'm thinking it won't kill him
They've tended to lead one way, and turn another

Well...

[BLACKOUT]this blade thing comes out of it...and seems to nail him in the face. But it cuts away.[/BLACKOUT]

I am now thinking it could be the guy in the woods, with the burnt half face. Or Henry's brother. Now it could be Henry, too, now, cause seeing the show we learn that his parents died. But I still doubt it's Henry. His brothers seems more liekly.

It can't be the guy in the woods. It is possible that he is the ACCOMPLICE to the killer, but I doubt he is the killer. But I honestly don't think he is either. I think he is one of two things...either a relative of John Wakefield (the original killer) or one of his victims who survived (thus the disfigurement) and I think due to this he will be crucial to figuring out the identity of the killer who clearly has a connection to Wakefield (and may have been the Wakefield accomplice the press speculated about in the Sheriff's news clippings). Plus the producers have been telling us since day one as part of this show's gimmick that we can solve the murders from home and that they have been giving clues since the first episode. We wouldn't have a fair shot and the clues would mean nothing if the killer is introduced five episodes in.

As for the brother, no way. Too obvious. He is a red herring. Not the killer. He is to Harper's Island as Randy was to Scream. The creepy guy who everyone suspects and that person never turns out to actually be the killer.

I missed this week's episode too! **** tv execs for moving it to saturday nights! :cmad:

(I did read the synopsis though...)

Why not just watch on CBS.com Marxie?

Why not just watch on CBS.com Marxie?

I suppose I could do that...

I finally caught up & that last scene was awesome. You literally shout out "Don't do it" or something like that before she turns on the lights :woot:

I'm thinking (more like guessing, heh) it's the sherrif and Jimmy. For some reason there was something about the whole used-to-hate-him-but-now-they're-buddies thing that just seemed fishy to me.

I think there is more then one group doing the killings. Group #1 would be the bride's dad new wife & the guy she is cheating on him with. With this group it could be the classic kill everyone & then get the wealthy dad's money since she is legally married to him

& then for Group #2 it would be the copy cat (unless he really is back & never actually died) & some other person

Harper's Island pulled? Not listed according to Time Warner Cable here this Sat Night.
