as much as that would explain, i can't appreciate the attitude

Letting your kid just see the film is enougth to make your kid eat Hebrew national wierners in a morally wrong manner for weeks.

If this is the final book, it should've been:

Harry Potter and the Final Showdown. :o

Harry Potter and the ULTIMATE Showdown

men know what it's all about....women just dumb us down somehow

Ginny seems level headed and uncomplicated. Assuming Harry doesn't bite it, they'll live a merry life together.

To beat your enemy you must know your enemy. That is what book six was all about.

Dumbledore knew as much and more about Voldy's upbringing and yet could never take him down. Harry may be as powerful (potentially) as Dumbledore, but he does not have not near the aresnal of knowledge he did.

Ah, so that explains it, you're a Harry/Hermione shipper. Its so absurd though, Rowling NEVER pointed to a Harry/Hermione relationship. And yes, I've read the arguments, none of them hold water. ("he pulled her out of the way of Grawp!" :whatever:)

I am a bit of a Harry/Hermione shipper, but that came from reading OOtP and the clear close relationship they had. Hermione was always more important to Harry than Ginny. The Battle at the DOM showed how important she was to her. However were was the evidence pointing towards Ginny/Harry? Ginny was just another background character no more important than Lavander or Parvati pre-HBP. Harry's revelation that he liked her came instantly and out of know where. It was a bit ridiculous. However I could of cared less who Harry ended up with, JKR is a good enough writer to make anything work - except the romantic subplot was bland. Everything happened offscreen and it ended before we could actually care about it.

And inorder for her to make Hermione/Ron work they had to turn Hermione into a completely different character in HBP - but thats another matter.

yes, i was actually sad to see him dump her at the end of 6
i was rooting for that one

Ugh, Harry is so gay. Either that or he's asexual. I think it's funny when people try pairing him up with all these girls.:p

The name of the book in Spanish will be "Harry Potter y las Consagraciones Mortales".

I don't like it.

I kind of agree with this. Neither Harry nor Ron are really Hermione's type, but Harry is the less anti-intellectual of the two. Except for his chess-playing skills, Ron is pretty much just the typical sports-loving lunkheaded frat boy type. Hermione is supposed to represent J.K. Rowling herself in certain ways, so I wonder if Rowling liked that type of guy when she was younger. In any case, I always saw the possibility of Harry and Hermione coming to some big "surprise" conclusion that they love each other at the end of the series, but since Rowling seems hell-bent on Ron and Hermione being together I guess that's the way it will go.

Harry should get together with Luna anyway. Luna rules.

title is ok

book will be the greatest of all time

If Harry dies, I will cry. The Cave chapter put shivers in me spine. **** was crazy, son!

I guess I'd better start reading some of these books
