That change on Snape sounds ****ing stupid. I'm sorry but why do you need to change it? A house of Crystal? Who the **** came up with that. Sorry but this just erks me because it leads to one of the most important parts in the entire series.

You going to hate the movie because of something so trivial being changed? I hated HBP for killing Dumbledore in the Astronomy tower and not on the front lawn.

Chamber of secrets was dreadful because hermione said ron's line about mudbloods.

No I never said I was going to do that, just that I do not think this portion should be changed and if I was gonna hate the movies for trivial changes I would have done that way back in POA. Which ironically is my most unfavorite film in the series.

POA is your most unfavorite film in the series?

We don't see your kind round these here parts often.

I thought it was pretty cool.
Much better than the last two films, at least.

It was my favorite book and I went into the movie with high expectations and it just didn't do it for me. I can understand why Crititics love it and even why some fans love it but man it just doesn't do it for me. First I hated the design of the werewolf, second I hated that they didn't introduce the Firebolt when they should have and third I hated the pointless scenes like the Dementor freezing the flowers in the field or the womping willow shrugging off it leaves. I over time have come to be ok with the film but it by and far is my least favorite.

Those things used to aggravate me, but as I get older I like a creative license in the films. Now what I don't like is them leaving out crucial info. The marauders story and explanation of priori incantatum. In the end I could care less what Cuaron did with the tree. He was only using it for season transitions anyways which is really no different than what the other directors did to show change in time and seasons.

Oh I get it as I have aged now and stuff but it still has a slightly sour taste in my mouth. Yeah the marauders story was another big thing that ticked me off.

Ok, too lazy to backtrack, but exactly what did they change about Snape's death that has everyone in an apparent uproar?

Its not in the shrieking shack.

Ok..and that's devastating how? Guys, look, where it happens isn't nearly as important as the impact of his death as a whole. As long as you stay true to what transpired within that scene, there's really no cause for alarm as far as I'm concerned.

Might wanna spoiler that for those who didn't read the books haha. But yeah, went from
shrieking shack, to the boat house.
, which honestly, I'm 100% fine with. Really, I am.

It took me forever to really love POA. I always liked it, but couldn't have cared less for it. Then I saw it back in 07, before OOTP. Loved it. I still say that Hallows is the best, followed closely by HBP, then Goblet. If anything, while not bad, I'd say maybe Sorcerer's Stone is the worst.

Love them all though.

i think it was the vague explanation of it happening in a crystal house that got others not really upset but...confused. Myself included. But when you read what else stuart craig said about the scene a few months back, it really doesn't seem to matter. gives me goosebumps just thinking about how it'll play out, sounds like its gonna be intense.

Crystal house? You mean like a house with crystal walls kinda like a green house or the Fortress of Solitude.

exactly...we don't know...we just know its a boathouse and there are crystals? heres the quote
"We wanted to change a bit where Snape dies. In the book, he dies on the Shrieking Shack, and we wanted to get him out from, not a conventional interior, but from that kind of box, to do it in a more dramatic atmosphere. We asked J.K. if she agreed for that to happen in there, because we hadn't really seen it before. We made a crystal house, and you can see what happens in the boat house from there - Are you listening Harry? -, but also the school is in flames...and she loved it. Besides, it's a very romantic place to die. Snape dies in a extremely good way, I gotta say."

Exactly. I think it'll be the boathouse by hogwarts, since the battle is raging on there anyways.

Two pics, one of them is the one Severus has posted but in a bigger size, not the best quality but eh.
