The Dark Knight Harvey Dent...Assistant D.A. ?

according to the wikipedia on the dark night he is already the D.A as he is helping batman and gordon catch the joker without killing or harming him it also states that it is the joker who scares him
:woot: lol

A District Attorney is an elected position. There are many A.D.A.'s but only one D.A.

Think Law and Order - Jack McCoy is an A.D.A., the guy in the big office that he talks to is the D.A.

If the D.A. is killed, an A.D.A. likely would take over the position until elections are held, but I doubt it would be a young A.D.A.

I think Harvey Dent should be an Assistant District Attorny, because it fits his age better.

District Attorney is not a promotion. It can't be a promotion. Rachael was an assistant to the previous District Attorney, she wasn't appointed by anyone except the now dead DA. Becoming the full District Attorney is not like "Oh gee, your boss is dead, well now you get it". No. She's going to be lucky if she keeps her job, let alone pursue becomming the next District Attorney.

But it is clear that rachel would take on the position until finch is rightfully replaced. Besides she could be officialy appointed the new D.A you can't rule that out. Remember that depends on the system in which the city of gotham runs. Is not the same in all cities.

Not unless StorminNorman is right.

And he most of the time is.
