I could've sworn Nolan said something along the lines of TDK picking up right after BB.
I think that could have something to do with the themes and the mood that Begins leaves off with, like the whole concept of escalation and such.
three years, as far as I know
Really? I thought it seemed like almost no time had really passed....a year, at most.
No doubt there was a number of time jumps in the film. He was gone for a long time when he went to join the LOS
Which is where the confusion alot of people seem to find themselves at. We know he spent 7 years going around the globe......the question is how much of that time was spent with the League and how much was spent learning other skills? Seemed like a year, maybe 2 at most, could have been passed with the League. I think in the book that's how much time he spent there, actually.
I don't think 3 months is enough time to rebuild the house/bat cave, and without his home, they may find it difficult to upgrade his inventory
Well.....TDK can cheat a little, if they want.
They can have the ending to Batman Begins take place a month or so after the Ra's showdown. That type of time jump is nothing, really.
I say, TDK will have to be about a year or close to a year after Batman Begins.
Namely, b/c if we want a Batcave.....a modified Batcave, actually as hinted in BB, and Wayne Manor.....that's pretty much an acceptable time frame for that to be rebuilt.
Of course, they don't have to do that. They could always pull off what the comics did way back when, and have Bruce stay in a high class penthouse using some other mobile headquarters (ie, sewer system or abandoned subway route) until the Mansion and Batcave are ready, which can be rebuilt and ready by the middle of the film if they wanted.
I dunno, they've got options. Good options.
