Has everyone forgotten Spawn?

yea but it can be made for todays audience its a pretty good character and story I think they should do Spawn and the apocalpyse arc that was pretty good

The Armegeddon story line would be intense. Billy Kincaid, Sam and Twitch, Mammon, Spawn turning into Legion, the whole book would blow my mind as a film. And if any of you guys have seen D9, that movie was made for only 30 million dollars. And it's got flawless effects. It was two hours as well. But I think Todd wants to take it down a more subtle road. Which would be fine. Spawn is Spawn and as long as we get him back on the big screen, I'll take anything.

Spawn has so much big screen potential. The first movie wasn't THAT bad. Neither was MJ White....

Talk is cheap and easy. What McFarlane's pitching sounds good now, but a lot happens between talk and a movie. Last time I checked, the Spawn comics were as reliant on grimdark urban dialogue, violence, and Biblical references as it was when I was a kid. He'd have to add a lot of depth to Al Simmons before I'd bother watching this.

I thought it was mega s**t when I first saw it and I still think that. But it's become one of my favorite bad movies.

Eh, I'd rather see StormWatch or something potentially good, like WildC.A.T.S.
