Danalys said:you ever eat meat HUMAN? if so you kill by proxy. it is our nature to kill it is only because of years of social conditioning and increased empathy that we don't, when we don't. and even then vast amounts of us will war for a cause they believe in. you think of humanity from the comfort of a home. there's a killer in all of us and if you had to kill to survive you would. it's instinct. not to mention that plants are life aswell. eat a root vegetable and that plant is dead. people have no empathy for vegatables so they kill them. our very survival requires death. our very comfort built on the death of those that were driven of by the spread of humanity. we have a right to live asmuch as any animal tho. but let us never forget what we are.
Uhm, if we go to the good ol' point of anthropology and history, we are meant to "war". No, not killing and murdering, but conflict. Conflict is different from what animals do. We fight among each other to protect our territory. Why? because that's where we can expand and grow. Why? because we need to in order to mate and grow and expand more and more.HUMAN said:Humans may war with each other, but are we meant to war? Why do we war? Is it because we have differences of opinions? Maybe so, but we aren't divinely called to war. When evil rises it men, it is up the the righteous and the just to defend their way of life. That's why murder is a sin and not killing. Evil will rise, but you shouldn't take it laying down. "God is Lord, and Him only shall you serve." Man is not god, even if we try to persue such title.
Human nature, not my fault. Many scientist also view this point.HUMAN said:You two have reached of point of such ridiculousness that I see no point in carrying on this conversation. Good night and God bless.

Your argument against the existence of God is that the whole world seems cruel and unjust. But how did you get this notion of just and unjust?A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of what a straight line should be. What are you comparing the world to when you call it evil or unjust? If all of nature was bad and senseless from A to Z, why do you, who is a part of the whole show of nature find yourself in such violent reaction aganinst it?...
If athiesm is true then by default we can only assume that all of reality as we know it is without meaning, but when you use your argument of the fact that their is evil in the world- you are forced to assume that that part of reality is with meaning- namely your idea of justice is full of sense.
Consequently, athiesm turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe is without meaning, we should have never found out it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know that it was dark. Dark would be a word without meaning.
So your saying the holocaust wasn't evil?Corinthian said:Uhm, if we go to the good ol' point of anthropology and history, we are meant to "war". No, not killing and murdering, but conflict. In my opinion there's no sin, just raw actions. Evil and good is on the eye of the beholder

Next week Bush will be attending the Bohemian Grove where he'll be worshipping an ancient Babylonian god known as Moloch who is spoken about in the book of Leviticus. He'll participate in the mock sacrifice of a child.
