As I said, it's great you have your belief in the specific deity you do and it works for you, but I see no proof of it or need for it.

They're operating under the assumption that finding one of these creatures alive will undermine currently accepted age estimates of the planet. Of course, this is completely preposterous, but there IS credence to the idea that if the world is merely a few thousand years old then evolutionary theory is false.

Unfortunately for them, even if one of these creatures is found alive today it will do absolutely nothing to undermine current evidence concerning the age of the planet.

So....they're dumb. I'm still trying to figure out whether that entire site is a joke.

It would certainly be interesting if certain species still existed though. I wouldn't recommend relocating it or placing one in captivity though. Could you imagine the ecological havoc that would ensue if pterodactyls were free in North America.

It's alot simpler for some people to believe that the first ancestors of human being are a couple who only became aware of their own modesty after eating a forbidden fruit suggested by a snake in a garden. They don't question how they were able to populate the Earth afterward with only their offsprings, and how their descendants evolved into different races with distinct features and cultures from around the world.
