Has Noah's Ark Been Found?

it's sad that people report this. it's sad that money was spent on this trip. it's sad that i ever had to hear about it. it's sad that i can't personally tell them to stop pretending to be archeologists.

whats noah?

The Hebrew mythology version of the much more ancient (and much more interesting) Utnapishtim of Sumerian mythology.

no, because noahs ark doesnt exisit, and the bible is an overhyped work of fiction

Imagine if the Ark is somehow found someday,it would not only prove that there is a god...but that the only real religion is the Jewish faith.

For if you belive in the Bible...the first humans were Adam and Eve,10 generations later Noah`s family was the sole survivors. We are all related, were all extremly distant family..

the ark shouldve been found by now, if it was really that big.

I wonder why they are still talking about this.....I saw a documentary on how they discovered what they think is the Ark in those mountains years ago.

And then it was revealed that the wood they "found" came from a railroad line in Long Beach, California

must've not been real then.

It was the same story....the scientists just weren't allowed to get a close look because the country's government wouldn't let them. *shrugs* who knows, people have been claiming to find religious artifacts for many years, and lots of them end up being fake.

Fixed it for you.:)

Find "the ark" doesn't prove the existence of god. It just proves the existence of the boat.

at least history isnt claming that there's an invisible man in the sky who's constantly watching everyone...seriously, I could be describing god or f**king santa right there, that's how much proof there is...I'm an athiest, not ignorant, and even if there were a god, he's definitly not the christian all-loving god, because take a look around you man. AIDS, war, terrorism, phamine, pestilence, mothers drowning there own babies, pedophiles, rape, horrible car accidents that leave peoples spinal collumns attatched to the glove box. If god exisits, he's a sick f**k. But he doesnt, so it's a moot point.

Does God cause that, or does man? If man put it's full efforts to unifying humanity, then there wouldn't be disease because we could cure it.

There's plenty of money to be made off of disease, war, and famine my dear friend. God isn't the fault, it's man.

WHY do people continually say that?

If the Biblical God is real, then he WANTED all of those horrible things to happen. 'Cause, first of all, he created the universe and wanted to endow IMPERFECT creatures with "Free-Will".

Knowing that he was the only perfect one, he, before the foundations of time, KNEW that an "imperfect" creature, endowed with "Free-Will", would inevitably choose the wrong path.

The Biblical God CREATED SIN, SUFFERING, EVIL (he brags about the fact that he's the "author of evil" in the Old Testament), etc.

Is "God" the cause?

Abso-freaking-lutely! Because none of it would exist unless God wanted it to exist.

It's simple, 2 year old LOGIC, man!

Noah was about as Jewish as Adam himself.

The Jewish faith started with Abraham.

Not necessarily. It was about as large as the QE II, which if nobody knew where it was, it would be very hard to find through satellite imagery.

Seriously, did all atheists get together and decide that this lame reasoning was the best way to oppose the existence of God. It's such a tired argument. Why doesn't God make all the divorced parents get back together, do your math homework, AND wipe your butt for you? Atheists make us humans out to be so damn helpless.

I hate it when people thank God,or call on His power for the most insignificant of things. "I hope to God I win this football game","Thank God I aced my math quiz!". Wtf is that about?

I agree. If I'm gonna argue that we're responsible for the bad things in the world like AIDS, rape, etc then we can also be held accountable for the good things like achievements and such.

well I wouldn't say we're responsible for AIDS itself, but the proliferation of the disease.

Well yeah. Even as a Christian, I think I thank God for things within reason.

I remember I found this woman's keys after she was starting to panic looking for them, and she goes "Thank you,Jesus." I'm like wtf did Jesus have to do with anything?:down

I think people just thank God and Jesus as an exclamation. I say it at times, but I don't mean it literally.
