I wonder how the MCU could be extended for more years without a Reboot after Fantastic Four and the X-Men being introduced? i believe that a MCU Reboot will not happen soon since the Fantastic Four and the X-Men even Spiderman need their own Sagas and Stories to tell so no the MCU has not Peaked yet but maybe we are close to that

I think the problem is Marvel is way too comfortable. Now we get lazy scripts with cheap jokes, very little believable dramatic tension and lackluster special effects.



Really, it feels like Marvel is making too much stuff and spreading itself too thin:

The X-Men could easily add another 15 years to the MCU.

Like sure, the X-Men and its spin offs are enough to fill phase7 to 9 then sprinkle sequels to Blade, Fantastic Four, Eternals and launch films for Nova, Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Tigra, Punisher - they could churn out a lot of films til phase 12. But I'd like to see a definite end eventually.

We'll know they're feeling heat when they roll the wheelbarrow of money back over to RDJ again for the nostalgia bait franchise injection to try to create a new peak.

For now their biggest mover is Spider-Man (Tom Holland) to try to throw into everything to keep the numbers up. Unluckily for Disney but not Sony, Disney has to cut deals with Sony for it (to continue) to happen.

Exactly what i been saying!! I think GoTG will do great. i can see it making $800M WW but I do not see that for the foreseeable future with the Marvels, Captain America and Thunderbolts. I just don't see any of them making over $700M and i have a tough time seeing them getting over $600M WW.

Warn me for accurately identifying trolling when I see it? You spent multiple posts complaining about content in a She-Hulk series you didn't watch and then posted antagonistic memes about Box Office numbers. That isn't offering "valid criticism" in any manner. That is troll behavior. Again, if you don't want called out for troll behavior, then offer up posts with valid points. There is absolutely a discussion to be had on Marvel's current state and declining box office of various franchises. But you are not offering those in the posts that you were rightly called out for. Also, it wasn't just me calling you out. There is a reason people responded to you the way they have.

I agree with everything except for wanting it to end. I would hope with new content being created with comics all the time that someone can come up with something special enough to keep it going.

MCU needs to get rid of it's one size fits all tone and aesthetics for one. It also needs to let new additions to the universe be unique in-universe instead of being met with indifference or dull surprises from the pre-established MCU characters. I don't care how many bizarre existential threats have shown up in the past, they should still be shocked and or terrified. Hell Batman was when he realized how dangerous Braniac was in Justice League.
