Has Unreal Engine 3 been reworked for the PS3?

Seeing as more and more companies are using the Unreal Engine for their games have Sony made it easier to put it on the PS3?

Going into 2009 it would really hurt them if UE3 games still come out looking worse than the 360 version.

I really havent heard much about PS3 games looking inferior to 360 ones in quite some time. That seemed to be more of an issue last year

it all got sorted out during the development of Unreal Tornament 3.
