...other than the two Arkham games? I think the semi-movie tie-in was fairly popular for the NES Batman....

Well, the Arkham games are the only exceptional ones, but Gotham City Imposters, DC Universe Online, Lego Batman, and MK vs DC all seem to be okay.

Also, yes, the NES Batman game was pretty good. :o

The Adventures of Batman & Robin and Batman Returns for the SNES were pretty awesome

superman on ios(iphone) is good fun too

I thought I was the only one who played Justice League Heroes. ;)

Justice League Heroes was okay. It did some stuff to pad the length that wasn't fun, but the last half of the game, once you start unlocking people and getting into the powerful upgrades, that was hecka fun.

i forgot about the Death & Return of Superman game. that actually a very well done game that kept true to the comics. thus far, it's the best Superman game that's come out.

It wasn't that good. Thats why we haven't seen a sequel. Altho a lot crappier games have gotten followups.

Looked a bit like a knock off version of X-Men Legends to me, so never played it.

thats too bad. It was quite good

Quite good is really stretching it. It wasn't bad, but it was at best a mediocre title. amazingfantasy is pretty much right on the money. It tried to be XML with DC characters. The problem was it forgot to be a good game with DC characters, unlike XML.

Unfortunately, that's not saying too much as it can tricky and repetitive. Still, it is fun and I play it once in a while.

MK vs DC had so much potential but oversensitive controls and really broken characters kept it down.

Anyone ever play the Aquaman game?

I don't think JLH had a lot in common with XML/MUA. XML/MUA had a far more developed RPG system with tons of powers and attributes and items --- yer basic WoW approach to RPGing. JLH only gave you a handful of powers to level up, and it was done purely by collecting gems and drops that you slotted into powersets. XML/MUA are true RPGs, while JLH is more of a co-op dungeon crawl with collectible power-ups.

there was an Aquaman game?

anyway, i loved MK vs DC and i wish we would have gotten a sequel. damn shame Midway went bankrupt because there were suppose to be some new characters available as DLC. i remember Harley and Quan Chi being confirmed.

Superman Returns was pretty good if you got it for 360 and Superman: Man of Steel for X-Box was great as well as Superman: Shadow of Apokolips (although stopping the dam from breaking was pretty hard).
I got stuck on the damn part, but the rest was pretty fun. It looked pretty much straight out of the show.

Agreed also loved that it was tied into the series and you got to play as Clark Kent as well.

Oh, it was certainly that, but it picks up in the last half and finds its groove. Not sure if its groovy enough for all though.

I guess for the OP the answer is no. There have been several okay games, like JLH, like MK vs DC, like Death and Return of Superman sidescroller, even Superman Returns had its moments. Moments.

But the only GOOD ones are the Arkham Series. Which is too bad.

no you definetly werent. Im upset we still havent seen a sequel

I remember putting up a thread about a recent JL game

report: Details and images of canned Justice League game pop up

and no one touched it. and then i see comment's like this. it's very confusing when I see statement made like this after some like that is ignored . they might get the same idea that no one want Jl game ether. oh well. hopefully they'll still get around to making one.
