So last night I said to myself "I am going to watch Batman & Robin" because I hadn't watched it in a long time. I put the DVD in and watched it to the part when Batman pushes Robin into the big vat of goo at Mr. Freeze's lair. I got this weird feeling and had to turn it off. I just couldn't watch the rest. Have you ever done that?

God yeah, Batman & Robin is sh**e! It was on TV a few months ago and...it was unbearable! :wow:

No, because I don't have B&R on DVD. :oldrazz:
I watched this movie once in the cinema.
I was totally sad after seeing it for the first time. I couldn't believe this movie was so bad. I was thinking: "this movie cannot be so bad, I was probably just in a bad mood when I saw it for the first time." So I went to watch it again to check.
But I left the movie theater in the middle of the film.

Just on a side note, I watched Batman 89' about sixteen times at the movie theater in 1989, and I loved it every single time (call me a bat-freak, but if I can't confess this here, I can't do it nowhere else).

I also watched BR some times in the movie theater.

I never watched on DVD when I rented from blackbuster on VHS back 1999. I once seen it on big screen that's it. When it came on TV I watched something else instead. My mom said "it's Batman on TV, I thought you liked Batman" I said "I do like Batman, I just don't like this one"

Oh yeah, I remember when it was on last. It was a f**king disgrace.

yeah i actually know what u mean, how you got a horrible feeling to turn it off. I have it on dvd, only because its the special edition that came out last year and it has behind the scenes to show how to make the worst movie ever, they did a good job at it too, the movie is indeed the worst ever that has popped out of Joel's *******.

I only laugh at the part with the ice skates, and when Arnie is wearing those big polar bear slippers in his lair. But other than that: .

LOL! I'm amazed you got that far into the movie before you got sick of it. By the time it gets to the creation of Bane, I'm done with it.

I swear, once I tried to watch B&R and couldn't even get past the opening scene with Batman and Robin driving down that tunnel.

That said, I can stand to watch B&R, usually. Provided there's someone there to laugh at it with me.

That's the case with me too. It's fun pointing out all the ways the movie went wrong. Provided you can keep up of course...

I can watch out.....I just look at it as a cartoon episode.....thats made by teenagers....some parts just crack me up when Mr.Freeze is forcing his henchmen to dance in the cold....

That happened to me watching late night TV once too ... except it was deliverance and I turned it off too late ... Soooooooooeeeeeeeeee!

And that's the best way to look at it if you're watching it alone. A brainless, campy, childish Saturday morning cartoon. You might even enjoy it... A little.......
Nah.

I can't decide which is worse, the "Bat-Credit Card" scene or the opening scene when Freeze's big ***** shaped rocket comes out of the "Freezemobile" and goes through the small hole in the ceiling. Gawd that is unbearable just to think about.

I have watched this movie a couple of times later on TV, after the couple sad experiences in the movie theater.
I did laugh at it. It can be pretty funny if you watch this movie as the 60's series.

And in my opinion, in terms of anecdotes (jokes), the worst things can be also the funniest things. It was for this reason that I posted this pic in "the worst pics thread".

For me, the worst (funniest) moment in B&R.

Question -- where the heck did the send the bill for that card? Don't they need a billing address?

Oh God, I mean, what the f**k was Joel Schumacher thinking when he made this movie?

Quite easy.
They could send it to the same address they used to send for to charge the bill for the red phone. :oldrazz:

Amazingly I can watch it until Alicia Silverstone becomes FATgirl. B&R was the fork in the road. It could've followed up BF more, but instead went too far left and we came to a dead end.

B&R does have some good shots though, my favorite being when the Batmobile and the cop cars are outside of Freeze's lair. I always wanted a poster of that shot for my garage. And I like the tunnel shot with the camera mounted to the Batmobile. You get a feeling of how powerful that car probably was and how fast it was really going in that narrow area. The neons used to piss me off, now I just think of Batman movies as comic books. Some have better art, some don't.

i disagree i dont like what the batmobile looked like and the angles you said above looked horrible to me. the acting is hideous its as if they were trying to make the worst movie they possibly could on purpose..
