Have you ever walked out on a movie?

I'm usually very tolerant to all movies. A movie doesn't have to be great for me to get some enjoyment out of it. That said, Blair Witch Project was the only movie I can remember being so bad that I wanted to walk out. I couldn't find anything worthwhile about that movie. If the girl I was with hadn't wanted to stay I would have left.

I'm very picky on what movies deserve to get my money and time to get me to the cinema, so i can say i've never walked out on any movie :woot:

Now, stopping a movie i rented on dvd, that's another story :cwink:

The Missing with Tommy Lee Jones. The only movie I've walked out of though I STRONGLY considered walking out of Mummy 3.

I can't say that I have ever walked out of the cinema during a movie. I can also say that I can't ever remember turning off a rental movie simply because I haven't rented a movie in years. I have however, turned off movies that I had bought and never watched again.

The names of those movies aren't coming to me right now though.

Same here. It's easy for me to tell how a movie looks. But, can't wait to see Body of Lies and Quantum of Solace. :word:

If so, what was it? It's probably rare that anyone does. You paid your money & the movie turns out to be a major stinkfest. Do you ride it out or do you bail?
I walked out of the original "Scary Movie", after realizing how sickening the Wayans' attempts at "humor" were. I also refused to watch "Kinsey" when an ex-girlfriend rented it...and I wanted to walk away from "The Girl Next Door" (again rented by the same ex-girlfriend), but I felt guilted into it (never watched it again, thank God).

I wanted to walk out on "Scary Movie". The girl I was with at the time roped me into that piece of crap. I liked the beginning & the end-nothing else. Then we argued for weeks about the second one. I named 10 movies that she wouldn't have to accompany me to if she left me alone about that one. I never caved, but she rented it & I was glad I didn't cave. Ugh.

Walked out of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy out of pure disappointment.

Luckily I've found the holy grail, and have a girlfriend who has wonderful taste in movies. A few movies off her top 10 list.

Y Tu Mama Tambien
The Dreamers
Se7en

Y tu Mama Tambien is a pretty good film. Bernal's a good actor.

I walked out on Resident Evil 3, Gothika, X-men 3, and Elf.

I loved Elf. It's my favorite comedy...

And you really thought X-Men 3 was that bad? It wasn't as good as two, but I thought it was still better than 1.

I couldn't stand X3. I rented it on DVD in 06 and liked it. I even watched it again. But I recently watched it a few weeks ago. I had to force myself to finish it.

Once again.

Wolverine + teacher + teamwork = FAIL

well, i walked out on "titan a.e.", but it was because it gave me a bad headache

i wanted to leave LOTR: fellowship of the ring (dreadfully boring to an 10 yearold who hates those kinds of movies) but i didnt

I walked out when Xavier disintegrated in Gray's childhood home. I've seen the film in its entirety since then, but I still don't like it at all. Honestly, the way Cyclops was handled annoyed me.

Oh yeah, the badly written quote "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," was something that I hated as well.

Do you like them now?

I Never walk out of films, but i almost did while watching disaster movie (most worthless ****ed up ******ed piece of non-sense **** that i could possibly ever see in my Entire freaking life) excuse my strong language

I walked out of the Green Mile, but that was because my brother had to go to work and he was my ride. I think I saw it in theaters again.

that scene alone really grinded my gears. They did away with Cyclops like it was no big deal. I didn't walk out on it, but boy did I want to

i walk out on xXx 2, sam jackson couldn't save that movie.

That goes double for me on that one. HOrrific beyond belief.

I also walked out of :

Paycheck(which is what Affleck was seeking. horrible.)
Brokeback Mountain(i sorta got into an argument with people behind me cause they kept kicking my seat and I got behind them and kicked theres and yada yada, i just went somewhere else).
Life Aquatic with Steven Sizzou(I actually liked this alot and saw the rest on dvd later on but I was so tired that day I just couldn't stay awake).

When I was six, I wanted to walk out of Batman and Robin because John Glover killing pre-Ivy Ivy scared the **** outta me. Mom wouldn't let me.

Now, I'd walk out on it for entirely different reasons.

I wanted to walk out of Apaloosa but my friend said there might be some potential , he was wrong.

No, but I should have with Beowulf, especially since they never corrected the aspect ratio and it looked squeezed. And, you know, because it was horrible.

Walked out of Snakes on a Plane and into Crank.
