Have you ever walked out on a movie?

I'm too cheap to walk out of a movie I paid to see.

As for the thread itself....No. I've never had the "pleasure" of walking out of a movie. That's because I am a very tolerant person, and because I normally can spot a POS when I see it, so to speak, so I avoid it.

Yeah, I've walked out of a movie before but not because what I paid to see sucked, it's because no one in the theatre would keep their damn mouths shut with their talking to the screen and cellphones going off.

I complained to the manager, got a refund and never returned to that particular theatre.

Never walked out on a movie...but came close to doing so during Spider-Man 3.

I have never Walked out on a movie no matter what it's like, I don't make an oppion until after the movie. Although if the movie is Bad it makes it easyer to go to the bathroom.

I walked out on Grindhouse. My ass was merging with the seat because I had sat there for like 9 ****ing hours. Death Proof was sooooo boring. I rented it later and enjoyed it because I could fast forward through the chit chat

When I was watching Quantum of Solace a 12 year old girl stood up in the middle of the film and started yellin the Pledge of Allegiance [sic]. SOO I threw my drink at her hehehe. She went cryin to the manager (who happened to be one of my best friends). It felt good. It was like that soda was hitting the head of every *****e bag that ever talked in a movie

^So wait...did you throw it as in dump the drink on her...or throw it as in chuck the entire cup at her?

I threw the whole damn cup. What it happened was theres this boarding school near the theatre and every week it puts ALL the kids on a boss and puts em in one movie. Most of em are 11-13 years old. They had little interest in James Bond. They were talking loudly through the whole film and causing all kinds of hell so when that girl stood up and started doing the pledge I lost it. I threw my whole damn cup.

I tried to watch Batman Forever the other day. I stopped it twenty minutes in and decided to watch the Count of Monte Cristo and then The Godfather Part II.

Epic as hell man.

I walked out watching Van Helsing, not because it was bad but I got a phone call and I had to go somewhere immediately.

I hate to put this film on here(even though I NEVER walked out after seeing it twice in theares), but everytime I ever watch 'The Dark Knight', I always turn it off about halfway through. Now, maybe this is because it's not as powerful as it was watching it in theatres, maybe it's my disappointment after purchasing the 2-Disc Special Edition, maybe it's because I don't have a theatre sitting in my living room, maybe it's too long, I don't know why I keep doing this!... But I can't help it:o

Thanks guys.
You know what has honestly driven me to walk out of films. Large old men who for whatever reason cannot help but COUGH and COUGH and COUGH. It sounds like these old dudes are dying. WTF? Why go to a theatre to die?

I'm at that point with it. I now just watch the scenes that I enjoy and skip the rest. It is damn long to just casually pop in and watch. Maybe it's cuz I saw it 6 times in theatres.......maybe I'm just sick of it.

Yeah, I could probably watch it with a friend over, if we had a never ending supply of popcorn and soft-drinks, but that doesn't exist... yet. I find I get like that with a lot of films I enjoy, so I usually take my time off with it for a while, and go back to viewing it once in a while.

Yeah same here. There are very few films I can actually sit all the way through everytime. Saving Private Ryan, The Forbidden Kingdom, Eastern Promises and Rambo. Everything else I end up turning off in the middle

Again, same here. However, I enjoy longer films that are simple to understand and satisfying at the same time. 'The Dark Knight', I understand what's going on, but with somethings like: Gordon's "death", the five people(two cops) Two-Face killed and one that had me confused for a while was the "pretty close to the chest" line from Bruce where he explains the secrecy of the "Government Telecommunications Project", for a while, I thought that it was an explaination as to why Gordon had to fake his death, because when he reveals to Harvey in the back of the van that he's alive, Dent says something like: "You do like to keep things pretty close to the chest". Anyhow, mind-boggling things like that sort of kick me out of the movie's domain.

No Will Farrell movie will EVER get my money. Same goes for Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller & Jack Black.

But Dodgeball and Tropic Thunder were pure gold...

But I can definately agree with you on Will Farrell. He blows.
