Have you ever walked out on a movie?

I can say i've never walked out of a movie before, but then again i mostly only wanna go see movies I wanna see.

Its not like i go to a movie cause i have nothing else to do. I mean unless i wanna see a movie i've seen already.

 Same here, I dont have the time or $$ to waste on things I have no interest in. The only time though that I did wanna walk out of a movie was Indy 4. As a fan of Indy I had to go...:csad:

can't say that i have. i would never walk out on a movie, no matter how bad it was. if i paid for it, i'm watching it.

only way i would walk out is if there was something in the movie that really really offended me, and i wouldn't liked see a movie that would do that anyways

I walked out of Sin City....though it wasn't because of the movie. The theater's sound system blew and kept going in and out. My g/f at the time could tolerate it, but I couldn't and I walked out and she wasn't happy about that. But I couldn't stand it. I can't hear what they were saying, and I paid money to see this film and I just walked the hell out.

Though, I should have walked out of Boogeyman.....

Still never understand people and the thought/idea/sensitiveness of thinks they find offensive. Even being offended bogges my mind. The only time I get offended is when someone personaly, to my face, right there in front of me, saying something to me directly pisses me off. That rarely happens, and most of the time I laugh it off and just make fun of them because it's hard to offend me...almost impossible.

I just don't understand being offended. I've seen a lot of stuff, heard a lot of things, had things I like personaly attacked or made fun of and yet...offended? No.

Yesterday, I almost walked out of a movie, but it was only gonna be to find a gun to have a man killed. My mother just had her kidney removed and she has the gnarliest ****ing incision I've ever seen and we were sitting and watching Angels&Demons. We were in the Handicap chairs mind you and it was because we had a handicap. The last 10 minutes of the film (when the twist comes in) this weezing 83 year old man comes stumbling in and decides he want my moms chair and so he start whacking her in her incision with his big ass metal oxygen tank. Let me just say this, thank God I have a friend in management in that theatre because I raised some holy hell for two reasons A) nobody ****s with my family and B) he walked into the last 10 minutes of a movie he didn't pay for, I know, I checked. The only thing that gives me solace is the fact that that man will probably be dead by the end of the week based on the nasty ass weezing noises he was making.....WHEW....that was just as exhausting to type as it will be for y'all to read
Thanks for your time :woot:

I walked out of Shrek I think it was? I don't remember. It was before the movie started but after I already paid for the tickets. My girlfriend at the time wanted to see the movie and after we sat down we started arguing so I just said f*** it, and told her I'd wait for her in the car for 10 minutes and if she wasn't inside of it by then she better find a ride home.

I've walked out of movies before for various of reasons. Theres movies that interest me and when I went to see them they sucked.. You have high hopes or a good interest in a movie/genre that u go see them. I've walked of movies like Pathfinder,Solaris I just found them soo boring and stupid I couldn't take it. Ya,maybe a waste of money, but the wast of time was far greater imo. Theres been movies that I've almost walked out of and probably should of(Dwars for example).
Its no different renting a movie that looks kindof good and then u watch it it sucks and u turn it off...its still a waste of money/time just maybe cost a little more goin to a theatre :)

I've walked out of two movies: Boogie Nights (when it got boring near the end) and Six Million Ways To Die

When I was watching Quantum of Solace a 12 year old girl stood up in the middle of the film and started yellin the Pledge of Allegiance [sic]. SOO I threw my drink at her hehehe. She went cryin to the manager (who happened to be one of my best friends). It felt good. It was like that soda was hitting the head of every *****e bag that ever talked in a movie

I threw the whole damn cup. What it happened was theres this boarding school near the theatre and every week it puts ALL the kids on a boss and puts em in one movie. Most of em are 11-13 years old. They had little interest in James Bond. They were talking loudly through the whole film and causing all kinds of hell so when that girl stood up and started doing the pledge I lost it. I threw my whole damn cup.

:lmao:

This made my night.

I probaly never will walk out of a movie because of how bad it is. I mean thats just a waste of money imo

Fear and Loathing

this was before I did drugs and at the dollar show so no money wasted. But damn, if I could only turn back time

I walked out of two movies.

Batman Forever - When Two-Face was chasing the Batmobile towards the dead end I turned to my bud and said "If he drives up that wall I'm walking out." Then the car drives up the f-ing wall! I got up, punched my friend in the shoulder and walked out. Never bothered to finish watching that movie, even to this day.

Iron Man - Not the fault of the movie but because of the worst theater in the world. It's in Queens, NY at Queens Blvd and 71st Ave. The sound and picture kept cutting out and then was not syncing up right. I went to the manager and chewed him out and got free passes.

I generally never walk out on movies no matter how bad they are. But a couple of times I would have if I were able to.

The ONLY thing that helped me from leaving the theater while watching Spielberg's "A. I." was the fact that the site was full so I couldn't even get out of the row without bothering dozens of people. I found that meaningless Spielberg's personal childhood trauma exacerbated to death unbearable.

The other time when I had no doubt that I was wasting my time miserably and had to leave the theater was during "Hellboy 2." But my girlfriend had forced me to watch it so I couldn't leave. Reaching the end of that movie was like peeing a whole gallstone.

I've only walked out of two films: Batman and Robin, and Zohan. Batman and Robin came out when I was three and my dad said that I told him I wanted to leave because the film was boring. I don't remember this at all but my dad's brought it up a few times. Zohan has to be the first time I've seen a comedy and never laughed once. I got up to the part when it showed the montage of Adam Sandler washing the old womens' hair and I couldn't take it anymore.

AvP:Requiem

I sat down watched 5 minutes then got up and left. I could tell it was a lost cause instantly just from the way the Predator world was depicted..

The money didn't matter. Watching them shat all over the legacy of the originals was not worth 7 dollars.

Coyote Ugly..I just wanted to see half strippers dance ona bar...they did but, then tried to have a story around it:huh:...see that was MY fault. And John Goodman eatin that greassy ass chicken just sent me over the top.

But Dodgeball and Tropic Thunder were pure gold...

But I can definately agree with you on Will Farrell. He blows.

Tropic Thunder was the same kind of humor as Ricky Bobby and Anchorman...Anchorman:grin:

I wanted to see Scream 3 the weekend it came out and my parents offered to bring me. So I went with them and needless to say I had my head dwon in shame for the last half hour. horrible.

My son wanted to walk out of Spiderman 3 after busting my balls non-stop for 2 weeks of wanting to see it. 30 minutes into this and he asked me if we could leave; he hated it...
I made his butt sit there and endure this punishment of a film.

He hasn't nagged me in such a manner since... :hehe:

:dry::cmad:They do that stuff don't they...lol

Never walked out. I see films that I think will be good or that I want to really see.

But when I saw POTC in 2003 for the first time, their was this person who was mentally ******ed in the theater. He couldn't shut up. I stayed in the theater, he quieted down at the last half of the film, but these two guys walked out.

I was losing interest in TS, but not enough to walk out, I was just thinking when the movie was gonna be over. Dammit, McG give me all the deleted scenes. I want to see the stuff you cut out!
