Do you think Hawkgirl in this new Cinematic Universe is going to make an appareance or be in the JL team?

and being the second female with Wonder Woman...

I don´t think she will appear. This is mainly because most people demand Flash as the fourth member, a GL as the fifth and MMH/Aquaman as the seventh member. Then we have the ppl going on about Cyborg and the importance of having a colored hero if they don´t go with John Stewart as GL and ppl like me who are just dying to see Billy Batson on the big screen.

I´m really sorry but no. I followed the JL animated series as a kid and I think it´s a shame but one has to aceept all the JL runs through out time and consider, someone who has taken part of the new stuff, could be/is a minority! Personally the fav set-up is the old one with HG from the JL series.

What I can say is that she is one of the cooler charachters that could be done and we could have a real sci-fi epic adventure about Thanagaar and her origin if she ever ended up on the big screen.

She probably won't be introduced initially, but I'd love to see her in the DC Cinematic Universe. I think Adrianne Palicki would be a great choice to play her.

I really don't see the appeal of Hawkgirl. Her origin is interesting in the context of her relationship with Hawkman (to be fair, it works the other way around too in my opinion), but as a standalone character, not so much.

Does she have any powers other than her wings and N-th metal mace swinging ability? I know powers aren't EVERYTHING for a hero/heroine, but since she doesn't have much else going for her, I don't see how she'd make a meaningful contribution to the new movie universe besides the idea of having the ever-so-loved DCAU lineup.

If this team gets another female character, my vote would be for Zatanna. Since she's likely going to be in JL Dark if that ever gets off the ground, this doesn't seem likely. So a second choice could be someone like Black Canary. Seems kind of contrived, but she's got enough backstory to warrant her having a sizable role.

If they're feeling adventurous, they could use Element Woman? That may require Metamorpho first though.

super strenght, speed, any kind of wepons he thinks related to their culture. I think she'll be interesting in live action. Not only by her powers. Also by her behavior, history and great potential to her character.

I would love for Hawkgirl to be in a Justice League movie!

thanagarians already exist in the cinematic universe.

I read Blackest Night yesterday (loved it, btw), but I really liked Hawkman and Hawkgirl and their conflict in that story. They were built into an interesting place at that point in the comics. I think this version of them would be cool to see EVENTUALLY.

However, that means down the line. Not this early. Let's get the big 5 established in their roles and individual movies. Let's have an established League of the original founders... then we can think about bringing in the B-listers like the Hawks.

would people prefer a Hawkgirl/John or Hawkgirl/Hawkman?

Hawkgirl and john was masterfully done in justice league cartoon. Would love to see a live action interpretation

Will rather have Hawkman.
The Carter Hall version is more likely in MOS universe than Katar Hol.

I'd be OK with her making an appearance in Justice League 2 if it gets a sequel, with Hawkman. I want no part of her being with John Stewart. Hawkman/Hawkgirl is the only way to go, they are a classic couple, despite both being B-Listers. Hawkman is far more interesting than John Stewart anyway.

I hope so. But I don't see Thanagarians appearing until a JL sequel. I'd love to see a StarCrossed type story play out in live action.

Then we have the ppl going on about Cyborg and the importance of having a colored hero if they don´t go with John Stewart as GL...

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that "colored" is a commonly used term in Sweden. It's kinda considered an outdated and somewhat offensive term in the US, although since "person of color" is becoming the preferred term it's technically not much different. Anyway, no judgment, just an FYI.

...and ppl like me who are just dying to see Billy Batson on the big screen.

And current indications are that Shazam will be in his own universe separate from the rest of the films, so it's unlikely we'll see him the JLA.

I think she has some potential as a character, but all that potential doesn't come from her concept which is just derivative, but being written really well in the last few years. On concept alone, I think you're better off with Black Canary or Zatanna.

I don't care what was done and done well in JL/JLU... Like Ralp and Sue the Hawks are a package deal. I need to see both. Getting only one is like a hotdog with out the bun or vice versa. Sure, you can eat both separate. But you're missing out the full experience.

As a non-comic book reading fan, based on the JL Animated series I'd love to see Hawkgirl/Shayera.

Jessica Biel as Hawkgirl?
