Infinity War Hayley Atwell - Peggy Carter

Since we have a thread dedicated to her niece here, why not her? Do you think she could show up in IW as a ghost or a flashback? Considering she is one of the most amazing MCU female characters ever, it would be great to see her one last time in the film that sums up 10 years of the MCU.

Marvel and Disney are very high on Hayley, which is great for fans because they've kept her in the MCU and in Disney films. There are several possibilities for Peggy's return in IW and elsewhere. As head of SHIELD, she could appear in both Ant-Man & The Wasp and Captain Marvel. Peggy could also be in a flashback in IW or Avengers 4, either dealing with SHIELD or revisiting her relationship with Steve. However the writers manage it, more Peggy is always a good thing.

My ultimate fantasy would be for Peggy to be brought to the present, young and healthy, via the Time Stone. Reuniting Steve and Peggy would be ideal but I know that's not going to happen.

It's totally possible to see her again in IW, since the Russos themselves told fans on some comic-con that they were thinking about her showing up in IW. Also, there is this casting call which hints at 60s flashback.
But yeah, I don't think they would bring her back to Steve after what happened in CW. Although, I constantly see people suggesting that Thanos will tempt Steve with bringing Peggy back. It really drives home how much the Russos and M&M screwed up with Sharon/Steve.
I think they made a big mistake, when they didn't save her casting for Sharon instead of Peggy. Seeing how everyone in Marvel loves her, I don't think they would have reduced her role had Atwell played her. I'm pretty positive she would have participated in the airport battle, that would have been awesome.

Atwell isn't a draw at all. Even with her arguably being the biggest name involved with Conviction, that show got the axe in one season. Even Agent Carter wasn't a big break for her and she was basically the love interest in The First Avenger. A love interest that can hold her own, yes, but before and after that, Atwell's never been a big name. She's more of a side role actress.

I mean, she got her own show after playing a supporting role in The First Avenger. That's still a pretty big win. And a lot of stuff in that first season was pretty cinematic. It'd be cool to get an Agent Carter film, sure, but now, especially with the show already axed, not so sure.

I just don't plain get it. HA's a faaaaaaaar better actress than say Keira Knightley and yet HA appears in less movies. HA needs a better agent perhaps.

I don't think she's in the same league as Keira Knightley to be honest, though Hollywood does have a problem with busty actresses for some reason. Loads of them end up having breast reductions to improve their casting chances.

But I have to admit, if Steve is time-traveling back to Peggy, it will make his relationship with Sharon in CW that much worse. Hopefully, they won't make it weird again.

Weinstein is such an evil bastard. Happily for Hayley, the folks at Marvel/Disney like her work and have kept her in the fold.

As soon as I heard about the first round of flashbacks, I hoped that Steve and Peggy would be reunited. The drawbacks of using the Time Stone were alluded to in Doctor Strange, but perhaps using it with the other stones would negate all of that. However it works out, I have the feeling that if there is a flashback or time travel involving Peggy, it's not going to lead to any "happily ever after" scenario for her and Steve.

As much as I like Steve/Peggy, I'm afraid that making a scene between them wouldn't be a very good idea. I thought Peggy might appear without Steve for her own sake, like that flashback in Ant-Man, for example. Something about her connection to SHIELD or Howard.
But to throw Steve around between two Carters back and forth would be even more weird than it was in CW.

I am hoping that phase four will be less focused on a connected story line that climaxes in a big event film and will let at least a few of the films be stand alone stories.

Captain Marvel being set in the 90's is a good start - maybe a Black Widow/Hawkeye film fleshing out their back story or a Peggy Carter adventure set in the 50's is now possible.

which is quite the opposite in the minds of audiences. Most folks would assume you need breast implants to get seen by producers and directors.
