So yes it's dead as long as you refuse to acknowledge the material that was made prior, good of you to repeat that.
Why you have to make up stuff and be an ass about it, i really dont get it.
No, its not dead...the IP still makes good money on several things.
On the topic:
The games, well the games never were that good sadly for this IP.
There was more recently a sidescroller for IOS, i think 2012 and that was neat imo, but with He-Man its the same as with any other 80s cartoon or comics in general...i dont understand how the gaming industry doesnt use those IPs more and better.
We could easily swim in He-Man games.
Comics are on and off, DC comics ended 2020 their multiverse He-man story.
The DC comics He-Man stories are quite neat but nothing that will blow people away.
Here and there they release comics but nothing really steady.
The ironic thing is that for which He-Man was created, the toys, is still the place you find most He-Man stuff.
Its more or less however for the older generation, the collectors who are willing to pay 400 bucks for a hordak statue or a 190 bucks castle grayskull.
There are toys for children etc, the wwe has a collaboration with He-Man and stuff.
But its not as much as it once was for sure.
The Brand is alive, but not thriving.
I hope this chances on all 3 fronts.
New comics, new toy lines, new games...that would be neat.
