Help for the Starbucks n00b

Exactly. That's one reason why I refuse to get the fancy ones. That and I don't like coffee that doesn't taste like coffee...which most of the cold drinks seem to be.

you can shorten the names at will, and make the peopl worked triple.
I do it all the time, I take out the last 3 letters or something, and the name ends up working fine.

I hate that too...thats why when i order anything other than plain coffee i tell them to ease up on everything, so it doesnt take away from that good coffee taste.

Yeah you order your drink...then wait...and wait...and wait. Then they give you your drink...then you go over to this lil table off to the side where you have your sugar, milk, cream, cinnamon, carmel, sweet-n-low (ahaha) and your good ol stirrin sticks.

I always get an extra shot in whatever I get there because if you dont it doesnt taste anything like coffee

Tall double(or triple) shot white mocha is my favorite.
And always order it extra hot if youre on the go otherwise they are lukewarm.

Yeah everyones first couple trips can be a horrifying expierience. Even though you dont want to you have to learn theyre ******ed language so you can avoid an arguement. This one time i went there was a lady in front of me and she was ordering something that was a "medium" and she said medium, and the guy behind the counter was all, "i think you mean grande ma'am...can you say, "grande" ugh!.." Im not even joking it was the rudest thing ive ever heard. So lets say you want to order a double chocolate frappaccino with extra whipped cream...youd say, "Hi id like a Double Chocolate Frapp with extra Whipp"...they like to keep theyre words short for some stupid reason...but if you do that youll be good to go.

Who else here is a Starbucks n00b too? I hope I'm not the only one I have a gift card I want to use, but I have no idea what to get or even how to order. I've only been once and I thought I'd try an espresso. I got a small shot in a big cup, so I thought I got ripped off I luff frappuccinos though The vanilla is my favorite, I'm not too fond of that new strawberry thing they came out with though


I need help I feel so lost and confused. Teach me the ways of the coffee house, O wise Starbucks goers. Teach this lost, ignorant, coffee hungry wretch all there is to know. Please?

I work for SBUX part time while in college, and I don't know if I can ever do customer service again.

I really hate people.

But anyhow, I've heard of other SBUX's that get testy when people dont say the sizes "correctly", I think it's dumb. I could care less how people order their drinks, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what it is they are asking for. The only time I repeat sizes or names is if I am unsure if they know exactly what it is they are asking for.

We get SO MANY friggin illegal aliens coming into my Starbucks and it is annoying to no end how they can't even read a damn menu, much less speak english.

The rich, white beeyotches are even worse, they come up in line on their phones all the time and barely even look you in the eye, treating you like you're absolutley no one.

Anyhow... Iced Vanilla Lattes are pretty good. It's just Vanilla, espresso, milk and ice. Yum.

Frappuccino's SUCK ASS, oh and BTW, they are SO full of chemicals, sugar and fat, that you are kidding yourself if you think a daily Frapp is any better than a daily trip to the fast food joint. Frapp's are as bad as a value meal, if not worse.

Starbucks coffee is just good.
It tastes different from any other coffee just like all coffee does
But if you dont like the taste of coffee then a double shot isnt a good idea.
