So, there are going to be Bat-Items in this film!

Dibs on the Bat-Tampon.

If you're a girl, beware of explode7.

Ok..ok...
I knew I'd cop it.

I'm just telling you what was said.

And I agree he may have been trying to get in her pants!!She was hot!!

Someone asked about the party...yes,it was the launch party for the movie BOYTOWN .

I need friends that can get that kinda behind-the-scenes insight. Or just me to a Hollywood party.

I'm going to laugh at you if he gets cast as Black Mask or something.

Wrong. He met with the producers, however he said it wasn't about THE JOKER. He did not say it wasn't about Batman.
word

"Word" on what?

Hulme specifically said that the meeting had nothing to do with Batman.

Oh, you know... thedarks0ldier can't be bothered with trifles like, actually reading the thread he's posting to. :star:

Guys, I totally believe the original poster, because I was at that party, too. It was a benefit party for crippled Furbies, and Hulme was there trying to raise money to save his most treasured Furby, who he calls Damascus the Destroyer. Ledger was there too, campaigning for a new Furby designed like Batman--he and Hulme got into a fist fight when over which Furby was best, and I went up to Nolan--who was also there--and Nolan told me that the Joker casting was a smokescreen and that the real villain is Joel Schumacher, played by Joel Schumacher.

No joke. Schumacher was there too. His Furby had nipples.

Did Schumacher's furby have neon or 'glow in the dark' nipples?

That's highbrow for Schumacher. Highbrow.

NO WAY I was at an Mosh and Adam West was there and said he was working on Family Guy! How Crazy is that!

Man,sounds like not too many people here have ever been to a "party".

(Runs for cover as the machine gun fire starts...)

I worked on the soundtrack for the movie Boytown, went to the Launch party(red carpet..ahem!),and Hulme was there!!

It's not really that hard to believe!!

I'm actually very well known for my musical talents...in my street.

Can I please have my clothes back??

No, no, Jul-el: you misunderstand. It's not that what you posted could never have happened. It may have. Either way, I really couldn't care less, but let's dissect it.

Was at a party last night.
Okay. Starting a true story with a vague opening such as this one might hurt the believability factor.

I worked on the soundtrack for the movie Boytown, went to the Launch party
Why didn't you say so in the first place? Now the story unravels. . .slightly.

Lachey Hulme was there.
A girl I know talked to him about the Batman films(the Joker role)
You see, this is where it bothers me a bit. I'm not questioning it, but if Hulme was there, wouldn't you have posted that one of your friends met Hulme?

Pictures? If it's red carpet, you should have pics from the event. [you don't have to be with Hulme in the pic persay, but showing pics from the event with your friends etc. . . that would lend to well, the proof. . . in the pudding.

He said they wanted a bigger name,'although he is well known here in Australia, they wanted someone more Hollywood'.
Okay. He might've made that statement.

He showed girl the Batman watch he was wearing,'given to him by producers'.
Maybe he lied to impress your friend. Is she hot? It's a formal gathering and he was probably trying to create his own after-party in your friend's pants. <no disrespect of course>

He said'do you want to see my Joker grin'(serious)Girl said it was the scariest face she'd ever seen."that guy IS the Joker"
Was she drunk?

Then...wait for it...said he is meeting with producers again next week!!??
. . . Maybe he's meeting with WB producers to discuss another role.

Take it how you want.Booze, pretty girl, maybe he want to get into her panties...
No one doubts this angle. If a conversation like that actually happened, it wouldn't lend itself to Hulme's need of her opinion. He might've said anything just short of 'I love you,' or the 'M' word to have a great night.

Fair point.

I just wanted to throw the story up here cos I thought some of you may be interested.

I didn't take pictures(too fan-boy at these events)and I sent the girl over to him as I knew he'd be far more'hospitable' to a female.

I'm not saying I believe what he said.I'm just passing on what he said.

Check out the Boytown stuff on youtube,It is pretty funny.

As for the Batman watch,I asked her about it again and she said 'it looked like the one's they sell at the Warner Brothers store'.(she wasn't impressed)

Any further questions from the prosecution?:cwink:

Ugh. I am so sick and tired of hearing Hulme's name thrown around. He DIDN'T get the Joker role, and he's NOT going to get the Dent role. Seriously, I can understand why some might have liked him for The Joker, but ****ing Two Face? LET IT GO. Your "Hulme-boy" is not going to be in TDK.
Yeah!!!

But it's five o'clock somewhere.
actually, despite the logic of gradiated time zones, the world is actually split into distinct hourly slots. If it is 5:15 in one place, it isn't 5:00 anywhere. 4:15 is the closest.

Yeah, I'm well aware of that.

But... it's a song. :D
