Man, JR Jr.'s Thor still looks really young to me. And he's wearing gloves, for some reason, which is weird. But it's good to see him draw Thor again. Many a good memory have I from the days of his run with Dan Jurgens.

I'm just kidding. But on a serious note, that really is one of the worst Hitch drawings I've ever seen.

Man what happened to Hitch? His art lately just plain sucked. Maybe he just wasnt meant to draw established characters cause his 616 work pales in comparison to his Ultimate stuff.

Anyway it sounds like there are going to be multiple new teams in the fallout of Siege and not just an "Avengers" team. Hmm.. maybe there will be an "Avengers" team and a new "Defenders" team?

I don't think it's bad, but you gotta remember you can't give so much time for teasers and so forth. I'd also like to note he just got his 5th child so maybe he has some lack of sleep lol.

Anyway, the pic just looks rushed and bland to me. And I'm pretty tired of seeing characters in that same pose Luke Cage is in on Hitch drawings.

Given that Hitch's name alone can sell a comic and that he's almost exclusively paired with a writer of equal or greater recognition on very high profile projects at this point, I imagine he makes very good money per page/cover whenever he actually gets down to business and does stuff.

I dunno how i feel about this. On the one hand, im glad Deodato's back on an Avengers book but on the other hand I thought marvel was going to condense their Avengers line by having one core book. Oh well, its brubaker with Deodato, what can possibly go wrong with that duo?

I never bought that. The Avengers line has become far too big and successful to just streamline all at once
