Non-bearded Parrack doesn't scream Slade.

Bearded Parrack (as seen in the cast photo) is believable as Slade. At the very least, a younger Slade.

He's a pretty big guy, so the guy can be imposing. Joe has played the badass role more but Parrack is the better actor imo.

Then again, I still see the guy on Arrow as the perfect Slade, so I didn't have my heart set on Joe in role. They've been spot on with the casting so far so I'm not disappointed.

I love how he's flip-flopping now with DC and Marvel. Back when his infamous "Planet Hulk Scoop" happened, he basically called Marvel a bunch of d**ks because they wouldn't confirm information that he apparently heard from less-than-reliable sources. And he periodically praised DC and WB for being tight-lipped about casting, story details, etc.

But now, he's best buds with Marvel so they're awesome yo and Feige is da man, while DC has a "weird relationship" with the press.

Remember, when asked about what character he was playing a little while ago, Kinnaman said, "I never said I was playing Rick Flagg." He might have just been playing coy, but I wonder if he initially test for Flagg and they decided he'd be a better fit for Slade.

I would also much rather see an older name actor playing Deathstroke...because than he can be spinned off into his own film possibly.

This Parrack as Slade/Deathstroke just doesn't jive with me. Would rather see Keanu, Statham or of course Pitt as Slade/Deathstroke than this Parrack.

If Parrack does wind up being Slade....than count me as disappointed in that piece of casting.

He has the physicality but I would rather have a NAME actor as Deathstroke!

I mean this is the great Slade Wilson aka DEATHSTROKE!! Not some 3rd tier villian or anti hero....this is DEATHSTROKE...one the greatest assassins in the DCU and who could and should be crossed over into these other DCU films and in the Batfleck solo Bat films.

The role of Deathstroke should go to a well known name actor like Will Smith as Deadshot IMO!

WB's/DC likes keeping things tight lipped in certain instances with their new DCU of films.

They will throw the dogs a bone every now and than (El Maybe, Schenider, Collider guys, Cinemblend, Jett etc)...but lately....they play the mis direction game and very well I might add.

Yeah, I watched an interview where all he would say was "I'm in the movie." It got the wheels turning, but I thought I was the only one. That'd be a pretty awesome turn of events if he was Deathstroke. I'd love a bigger name, but Kinnaman is really awesome and deserves a big role.

Given how Deathstroke has not been confirmed combined with the prospect of him being played by Parrack makes me wish Deathstroke isn't in the film at all.

Brad Pitt playing him would be neat, but I still would like to see Liev Schreiber instead.
