This is a good question. I'm kinda surprised that either MSJ or the movie itself doesn't have one of these. Everyone uses myspace these days for marketing and networking reasons. Seems to me to be a lost opportunity to not have one...

It's worth it to set up at least a plain vanilla site. There are some cool people on there. You control who your myspace friends are. It's not a dating site anymore...that's only part of it. It's a whole different animal now.

It's not perfect but at the same time it is. Customizing your own site is fun in it's own. It's a challenge that I just plain suck at compared to most. However I did win free tickets to 3 improv shows there, got to meet a couple hype members, got to chat w/Favreau, Story, Leterrier, and others in the industry. There's people on myspace you'd never think of. I'm talking real bigwigs. Now of course there's a zillion fake sites so you have to weed through the garbage or have methods of verifying who's who. I met Harland Williams at the Improv one night and he told me which one was his and which one's were fake. I got to chat w/Adi Granov, and a few other directors, producers, and actors who don't want to be found yet. LOL

The big warning is that it's very addicting.
