there's another version of this with Bats on the left side of Supes. i'll try to find it later.

They gotto make a movie eventually about these too... the toons were aways great when they paired...

The only thing I find a bit of a shame is that B89's art direction fit near-perfectly with SR's, yet we'll never get to see those two...worlds meet.

^^ they could come up with a style of the film that can unify the two franchises if there would be a Batman-Superman movie. right now, i'd welcome having another director and creative team to take care of the WF movie.

I'm thinking a "Batman AND Superman" movie first, then we'll get to BVS (Batman vs. Superman) for a sequel.

I actually think BB's style fits with SR's.

Oddly, I think BB's flat realism fits better with STM. If y'know, STM wasn't made in the 70s.

I just see it working because the cities looked like actual opposites. Gotham in BB was dark and grimey yet gorgeous while Metropolis in SR(and STM like you said) looks clean colorful and gorgeous.

My thinking is that both BB and STM were all about realism. Gotham in BB, was Chicago, Metropolis in STM was New York City.

With B89 and SR however, both seemed to have this art-deco, noir-ish quality about them. And, drawing from what you said, contrast each other very well in that B89's Gotham was very dark and grimey, while SR's Metropolis is very bright and clean.

i saved this pic from a while back, but i couldnt remember who the artist was. does anybody know who made this? because i really want to credit the fellow since i'm gonna make some tweaks to it:

Wow. If i was at my local theater, and saw that poster, exactly as is, up on the wall... i'd pass out. That's amazing.

y do u people want a batman vs superman movie. THINK all movies that joined 2 icons (i.e AVP, FreddyvsJaso) they sucked. And killed the movie sequels

Yes, but aslong as WB gets a good writer (Jeff Loeb) and a good director (Bryan Singer?) we are fine. Plus - unlike those two movies - a Batman v. Superman movie would have actors that could well...act.
