Hilariously awful DVD covers, or the Steven Seagal thread! - Part 1

How is that a reference to Nolan?

Bumping this thread because it deserves consideration for Best Thread of the Year.

I think that's meant to be blood on Dolph's face, but it kinda looks like he's been applying blush.

Crap, I had no idea they made THREE of those movies.

Stallone, save yourself!

He's barely in the second one so it has to be for the money they offered him, which is kinda funny considering he accused Bruce Willis of wanting too much money for Expendables 3.

Direct-to-video movies are like catnip for all these 80s/90s action stars.

Yeah they are. Speaking of which, I just saw a trailer for Angel Has Fallen, the third installment in the “Has Fallen” series. I had no idea anyone saw the second one. It made me wonder how Gerard Butler has thus far escaped direct-to-video action films, apparently. Does anyone really like him as an action star? I wish they would stop releasing his movies in theaters. I can obviously just avoid seeing them but it’s annoying to have to suffer through a trailer for whatever trash film he’s appearing in this week when I go to see another movie in the theater.

I don't mind Gerry B. He was decent in Olympus Has Fallen, and in Den of Thieves you could practically smell the whisky and Old Spice scent on him in that one.

I haven’t enjoyed a performance of his since... 300, maybe? I thought Olympus Has Fallen was one of the most bland action films I’ve ever seen; never bothered to check out the second one.

It makes me a bit sad to see all these important actors in ****ty direct-to-dvd movies.

Is Gary Oldman in ''movie jail'' or something? The trailer for this is even worse lol.

Okay, I need to see this movie. I hope they make a sequel where Shatner teams up with Nic Cage. That’s the only thing this movie is missing.

Seeing Oldman in all these crappy DTV movies reminds me of when Michael Caine was in Jaws The Revenge after winning an Oscar. What’s funny about this one is that he didn’t even get top billing, or the “and” billing at the end; an honor awarded in this case to Dylmont McDermulroney.

Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking with those. Probably the worst big blockbuster set of covers I've seen.

They really are an eyesore. Like they purposely found a shade of blue that was visually offensive.
