Yeah that's too bad. More McAvoy is always welcome. I haven't read the books but I understand it wasn't part of the second one so I guess it's not that bad. I really hope this gets a final season that also contains the standalone episode.

I thought countries were allowing film crews to start production again. So why cant they film it as soon as McAvoy is available, and release it when its finished? Do it as a holiday special or movie in between season 2 & 3.

That new trailer was great. Little to know Iorek will be a struggle.

But I remember less from the 2nd book than I do the first, so hopefully have some surprises in store.

It’s been years since I read the 2nd book so I can’t remember much personally apart from major plot points, but I enjoyed the first episode.

I felt a little lost in Mrs. Coulter's scenes. It started to remind of the political aspect of Star Wars. Still really enjoyed the second episode though. Loved Lyra meeting the scholar.

Very happy this is getting a third season. I honestly may have to rewatch Season 2 because I feel there are plot points I may have missed, but honestly, glad this show will continue. Even though I don't know the source material, I get a real sense of wonder and adventure from watching this show.
