Totally unrelated, Atwell's avatar is back with a twist ! :)

:cwink:

The actor that plays Count Odo; the expression on his face after he told the girl to hit him harder and the guy stepped in and did it was perfect. I actually felt his pain!

It never occurred to me that Sigurd could be mistaken for a girl.

@Golgo-13 : yeah, he was like "ouh I felt this one" but not sure if it was pleasure of pain to be honest.

EDIT: Man, characters dying left and right again. :b

Yeah. Bjorn should've killed Erlander on his own. At least Torvi put a stop to things.

I love Harald Finehair and his brother and the way they're such good friends.

Li'l Alfred is absolutely adorable. I just wanna squeeze him. Ivar, OTOH, is terrifying. I need to see what this kid grows up to be.

Did anyone else feel like Halbard killed baby Siggy? Seems like the kind of spiteful thing he would do.

So the Emperor is bisexual? And Roland might be sleeping with his own sister. Those French sure are kinky even though they don't have pregnant sex. :hehe:

I said before that ivar has the makings of a psychopath. The French lannisters are probably going to get killed by Rollo

Harald and his brother seem particularly bloodthirsty. That poor French farm family should of fled to Paris and warned the king.

Poor little siggy. Seeing dead kids is brutal.

I suppose that it is no coincidence that the same actor who plays the Viking Seer also played Pope Leo in this episode. Funny how they play games with the religions like that. :)

I think it was more to show that Auslag is so uncaring that she's burned the main hall, Halbard has ****ed half the town and now Siggy died because Auslag hasn't cared... What's pivotal about all of this is to see Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye growing up to become a kinder soul, where as Ivar the Boneless is just this monster.

Erlander is dead at last, glad it came by the hands of ex wife. Funny how no one seemed to care about it.
I don't know what to think of the Finehair brothers yet so I will wait for their move against Ragnar, that should be interesting.

It is me or Bjorn get bigger and larger by each episodes ? The guy is huge.

Poor Rollo, he has to put it on stand-by :)

Rollo getting cock blocked.:funny:

I really miss the Ragnar of the first 3 seasons. This loopy drug addict weirdo just isnt as enjoyable.:(

Not that I haven't enjoyed Ragnar's drug fueled madness, but I'm hoping he snaps out of it soon too. I want to see him toss the last of the herb over board and narrow his focus to dealing with the ever mounting problems going on around him.

I noticed that too. Maybe they're doing it on purpose with camera tricks or something, but Bjorn does seem to get larger almost every episode.

I completely forgot how Ragnar even ended up with Auslag. She's a big step down from the badass, goddess of a woman that is Lagertha .

And is it just me, but every time Judith is on screen i just was someone to gently pull her hair back, so we can see what's left of that lopped off ear!

Major Spoiler
Young Danish actor Alex Høgh Andersen has been cast as a series regular in the hit History drama series Vikings. He will make his debut in the Season 4 spring finale playing lead Ragnar Lothbrok’s (Tavis Fimmel) son, Ivar the Boneless, who is more dangerous than he appears. His character, along with Ragnar’s other offspring, have been featured as children until now but will make the transition to adulthood as part of a widely speculated time jump, which had been revealed by pictures of the cast from the set. Ivar’s grown-up brothers are played by Jordan Patrick Smith (Ubbe), Marco Ilsø (Hvitserk) and David Lindström (Sigurd).Going forward, Andersen is expected to become a lead in the series.

Good. The show needs to get away from addict Ragnar.

Wow, great last 20 minutes, "Ivar, there is no mistaking you". Bring on Season 4!!!

SPOILERS FOLLOW

I've really enjoyed this season and this episode was no exception! The battle was awesome. I realized watching Bjorn fight is always a treat, he's a juggernaut! The time jump was smoothly done, I always enjoy seeing where everyone's at.

What did everyone make of the final scene? Seems to me Ragnar's making the point that he's the man for the job. I doubt Bjorn's interested in being king unless he has to be.

I guess Rollo's just been living the good life in Paris these years gone by. I'm excited to see the Mediterranean!

I'm so happy Rollo didn't die.

I liked how all the new actors for Ragnar's sons did their best Travis impressions.

I was happy to see Rollo's victory. Rollo finally got the adulation, power and respect he always wanted.

I enjoyed watching Ragnar and Rollo throw haymakers at each other.

Rollo, gutting one of his men for suggesting the Franks retreat was badass.

I was surprised Ragnar survived the mid season finale. I expected there to be a cut to him in a snake pit in Northumbria. I guess they are saving his fate to the en of the season or something.

I dislike Aslaug after she let Siggy die.

Casting for adult Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd, and Ivar seems good.
Ivar needs his own Hodor.

I didn't expect Floki to survive. I assume Lagertha is dead.

Emperor Charles was more cunning than we realized. Having Roland and Therese strangled was ruthless.

SPOILERS FOLLOW
I guess Rollo's just been living the good life in Paris these years gone by.

He is the Duke of Normandy and probably off setting up his Normandy Duchy capital that will become the largest and most prosperous city of medieval Europe.

That was one of the OMFG episode/final, eventful, good time jump, first half and second half were great ! The Frank King was also great, he is not as blind as he appeared to be.
Auslag scene in one sentence : the Bene Gesserit witch must leave !
The Seer was right about Rollo : you have no idea what the Gods have in store for you. Beside, historical Rollo became the first Duke of Normandy ( Duc Rollon ) , he can't just die that soon.

Edit : so this was not the season final !? Haaaarg, awesome !

I took it as being a King is not an easy task, the burden is heavy and the decisions not easy to make.

I'm not well versed in my own country history but there were several powerful Duchies beside Normandy, namely ( a few ) Aquitaine, Bourgogne, Lorraine, Bretagne.
