Yeah, that princess is a bit of a freak. Her reaction made me wonder if she had lied about her uncle and hadn't expected him to actually be killed. It was like she hadn't expected it to go that far. Strange.

I think the princess was caught by elation. I guess she never saw such battle or any battle at all.
To be blunt : she was hot for Ragnar.

My favourite moment is when Ragnar is marching up the beach toward the Uncle. It's Ragnar versus about 10-15 English soldiers, and he's just tearing through them, while Uncle sits there no doubt messing his underoos.

This show is so damn good! And this season looks completely ****ing epic!

The Siege of Paris no less. Oh and crazy nympho princess is back, she's always entertaining. And I cannot imagine just how hot for Ragnar she must be right now. She probably won't have a single dry pair of undies by the end of the week at this rate.

Kevin Durand. How awesome is that? :D

isn't everybody haha. The battles are nuts, can't wait for the rest of the season :D

Nah. Ragnar is a BAMF for sure but Lagearta get my vote, she is simply too awesome.

He certainly knows how to put on a show. :p

Ragnar grinning on the boat with the severed heads was funny :funny:

If you were an Anglo-Saxon on that beach it would be the stuff of nightmares.

I'm intrigued by this wanderer but I'm nervous about the dream and prophecy that foretell the deaths of Lagertha and the Seer. I love them both too much to lose them.

So is Kalf now king? I didn't quite get what was happening during that scene where he trashed Ragnar and was being acclaimed by the crowd.

Kalf is Earl (he usurped Lagertha). It sounds like he will be coming after Ragnar as well.

Odd episode.
The psycho active mushrooms felt a bit out of nowhere but the shared prescient dreams was nice,it gave room for "insert their names here".
Evil Jared Leto clone is Jarl ( equivalent of Count ).

Haa , Earl is the Anglo-Saxon equivalent of Jarl ( Scandinavian ), I just Wikipied ( ouch ) it.

I couldn't tell if he is serious or if he's just doing what Lagaertha was telling him to do. You can never tell with this show. :p Too many sneaky people.

That was my favourite part! I loved how we're shown the heads, it's all dark, then the camera pans down and there's Ragnar grinning like a nutball. I also really enjoyed that other fellow's line about his rotting arm: "I've always hated this arm."

I wasn't quite sure what to make of the ending with Athelstan, who has become such a great character over the three seasons. Was great seeing Kevin Durand show up, I've always liked him.

Kevin Durand has the most random career.

The princess having the hots for Athelstan is not going to end well.

Every other character has ulterior motives on this show.

You would think people would learn Ragnar Lothbrok isn't to be messed with by now.

Floki having a good laugh at the crazy princess stabbing her uncles head was typical Floki.

Bjorn does marriage proposals like a boss.

The princess has the hots for everyone. She'd probably bang an acorn if the mood struck her. And yes, Ragnar "I'm completely crazy" grin was priceless. Many an Anglo-Saxons bowls were probably loosened in that scene.

I would've preferred ditching the mushroom scene (which seemed shoehorned in so we could have more violence) with a scene of Kalf politicking in Kattegat. Seeing him sway the local movers and shakers would've made his coup feel less abrupt.

He was referring to Princess Judith. You're thinking of Princess Kwenthrith.

Would someone please tell me what happened at the end. My dvr cut off when the Wanderer with the bleeding hand walked up.:(

The wanderer said his hand was hurt, and asked for help. It then cut to Athelsten who wandered into a room where Lagertha was, with his palms open, and both were bleeding. And then credits!

Stigmata!:wow:

Did what's his name die? The guy that had his arm removed?

I think so, yeah. He wasn't looking to healthy, then near the end he was just laying on the ground not moving with the other guys around him.

I actually can't remember that guy getting hurt on the arm, but I guess it must have happened in the battle on the riverbank.
