Sequels Hobgoblin for 4

ONCE AGAIN:

Does the general public CARE about these minute details? NO.

To them, another Goblin is another Goblin, I don't care how you dress it up, it's still a Goblin.

What does that even matter? He was a quiet villian because he only had it in for Peter.

And to the both of you who still insist Harry was a GOBLIN villain, here's something for you to hear...it was from Sky Two, a British television channel and I read it on wikipedia.org also...James Franco was given an interview and he mentioned about his character Harry Osborn in the third installment:

Harry Osborn does not wear the costume aimed at terrorizing people like that of his father, but wears a streamlined costume solely for the intent of killing Spider-Man.

He doesn't beomce a full-fledged goblin character like his father, because he's not a true goblin villain...he's not Green Goblin, he's not Hobgoblin, plus he doesn't look like a goblin, PLUS his name was gonna be called like the Night Stalker or something like that beforehand, until they came to the conclusion of just calling him New Goblin, just to please fans...which is weird, Spider-Man 3 was obviously meant to just please villains, i.e., calling Harry New Goblin, having the symbiote/Venom/Eddie Brock in it and also having Gwen Stacy in it.

I wish they would of just called Harry "Night Surfer" if he wasn't gonna have a Goblin costume.

No, Harry was not a goblin! There was never any mention of him being any goblin. Why all you want to see him as one? He was just Harry, who wants revenge and only way to get it is by using his father's equipment, because he is not an inventor like Norman was. And thinking of Spider-Man fighting side by side with a goblin is too stupid. He was fighting with his best friend who was only Harry. He was not insane, he was normal.
And Norman will be back, that's for sure. All the tension around Norman in part 2 and now 3 suggest that he will be back in the final one. The best stories in the comics were those when Norman returns and he messes with Peter's life from within in Peter Parker Spider-Man. They will make that on film, they MUST, with the addition of the Hobgoblin. And I really don't understand the association with the butler and the goblin, that's way too stupid. The guy's like 80 years or more. And Hobgoblin is Roderick or Jason Philips, they could use one of them. And don't forget the addition of Gwen in this film. It all builds to a goblin showdown, but not in part 4 or 5, but in the 6th one. In the final one, we will have Norman Osborn the Green Goblin.
He is credited as New Goblin, hence James Frano played Harry Osborn, aka the New Goblin

Id have to rewatch the film, but to the best of my knowledge, Eddie Brock was never called Venom in the film. Does that mean that he wasnt Venom? Of course not

He took the formula, had a glider and had Goblin weapons, but you're right, he wasn't a Goblin at all. I don't know why they listed him as one. They are so silly.

Captain America also took the formula, and so did Bane...

Glider? Again, all I saw was a Back to the Future hover Board

But yes, he did have Goblin weapons.

I wasnt aware Captain America took the Green Goblin formula

i would have to say no because they have had two goblins already it will just become repative they got alot of other more interesting villians out to use.

LOL!

:wow: I think Superman took the Goblin formula too! :woot:

If the regular cast comes back for SM4, then i say they should wait until SM5 or 6 to bring in Hobgoblin. But if they cant get the original cast to agree to do SM4, I'd be open to it, cause you'd have to build somewhat of a new storyline around the new actors, it's be too hard to carry over SM3 to SM4 if you don't have the same cast. That's my opinion anyways, Thoughts?

No more Goblins, pumpkin bombs or flying thingies. Move on to other villains, Spidey has tons of them, THE LIZARD, Kraven, Electro, etc. There's no need to see any thing remotely like a Goblin flying around tossing pumpkin bombs in SM4. If there is a SM4.

They won't use him in the next six and if they do it won't be until the sixth, which wouldn't make much sense.

And how exactly is that supposed to happen with BOTH GG's dead?
(And I swear to God, if you suggest resurrection, I'll FLIP.)

I'm not seriously suggesting an adaption of a storyline which was pretty average anyway (great art though!).

But if there was another Green Goblin, there's always Dr Bart Hamilton ;)

The butler as Hobgoblin? Hell no. :down

The man can't act, he seemed like an innocent old man, and we don't need another Goblin anyway.
